1- The Contest - This is a LEGO Technic/Bionicle/Hero Factory contest. LEGO System parts (that's bricks) should be kept to a minimum.
This is a "purist" contest, so only original, unmodded LEGO parts are allowed.
2- Time Frame - The Bio Cup will start on June 21st and last until a champion will emerge.
Every round will last 10 days, entries posted outside the time frame (MOCpages time) will be void.
There will be a 3-days pause between rounds for judging.
3- Entries - For an entry to be valid it must indicate in the main description that it was made for the 2013 Bio Cup. It must then be added to the group's pool, AND a link to your entry must be posted in the appropriate thread.
Your entry won't be judged until you post that link, but once you do, every change to the page will be forbidden. (So I suggest you first add it to the pool and see some feedback before "locking" it)
4- Themes - Your entry must fit the assigned theme. Themes are not very constrictive so you're free to interpret them.
5- Pictures - Clear, focused picture, possibly on a clean background will allow the judges to fully appreciate your entries' quality.
6- Rounds - Each round will be a MOC-off against your assigned opponent.
The winner moves up, the loser falls down. When you're the only one left, you won.
7- Judging - Each MOC will be judged on a scale of one to ten by 7 judges. A zero will be assigned by a judge only if he thinks the entry is out of theme.
8- MOCs - All MOCs must be new ones, built for the contest.
9- Group - Only your contest entries may be added to the group's creations.
10- All standard MOCpages rules apply.
You can ask all your questions in the "Questions" topic. You can ask round-specific or theme-specific questions in the relative round's thread.
