in order to do this you have to have the triggers pivot point rather high up in the gun. just have something that clicks into place and then have an extended piece to stop the motion. other than that it would depend what kind of mechanism you are using if any. it also depends on what kind of gun you are making, pistol or rifle. i will try to come up with one and then i will post it in my instructions folder.

For me I use a simple 3m technic pin pushed in and out of a technic block. Then all you have to do is just push it in and out to lock and unlock it.

hey chris, i have a suggestion for your guns. you should ad more slanted pieces on your guns. they will give them more shape and charachter. also make them a little smother, they are looking a bit chunky. as for the handles on them, give them some of the slanted blocks too. this is supposed to be constructive criticism.
