I have an idea for a brick shooter that may interest some people here. Although this gun doesn't fire your standard bricks (rather 3 stud long axles with end-caps) I believe you could make a fine non-rubber band firing gun out of it. Basically you would have a gravity feed clip holding the 3 stud long axles with pen springs in little 2x1 technic stud bricks. As each "bullet" feeds into the chamber the bolt (could be motorized or not) would be pushed forward and compress the spring against the front of the axle. Then, by pulling the trigger it would release the drop block mechanism in front of the compressed bullet, firing the gun, and "ejecting" the 2x1 technic stud brick out of the bottom of the gun. Hopefully, once I get my legos back I can make a gun and show you guys the idea. It will use the same bullets as in my LCAP firearm, and the gun could be motorized to eventually be fully automatic instead of bolt action (which is going to be the gun I am shooting for). I hope you guys could explore this idea more, and if you have any questions please ask and I can try to explain it better.
