Isn't the Steyr AUG a sniper rifle? It's semi-auto and is about a meter long. And there aren't that many in service anymore either.
no, its an assault rifle. it is full a semi auto. if you pull the trigger halfway, it shoot semi and all the way, its full. yes, there are sniper variants. they have longer barrels and bigger scopes. Permalink

Now I'm stuck on an assault rifle. It needs to be an assault rifle from 1940-1990, have an underbarrel magazine and needs to have a maximal length of 90 cm. And no railsight!
Well here are a list of just a few you could do: an Stg-44, Ak-47, M-14, FN FAL, Steyr Stg. 77, EM-2, AR-10, or a FAMAS. There are a few more but this should be of some help. Permalink
Well, you could do an M-14 with a scope, or a PTRS or a .55 inch Boys anti tank rifle. All of these are semi automatic and they aren't so modern.
The PTRS-41 is very cool gun, and twice as powerfull as a .50BMG rifle, but it has a length of 2,10 meters. So that's way too long. BTW I don't play playstation games, but I heard that the PTRS-41 scores 9,5/10 points in case of damage. So making a PTRS-41 is just a dream come true. Permalink

AWS The Artic Warfare Sniper Rifle, its used in Afghanistan. Its a short gun. Simple to make and is semi automatic. You pull the triger more than once and it fires all its clip.
The AWS is a modified standard AW to use subsonic ammunition. Thus, the bullet flies at a speed below the speed of sound making minimum noise when firing. The supprssor is built into the barrel. It is the same principle as the DSR-1 Subsonic. The AWS is in no way semi-automatic. But it might be a good design for a Lego gun, having swapable barrels and all... Permalink
Well if the OPs got an idea, could I ask a question?
I'm going to make a lego rocket launcher (fires those large Mars Lander wheels / specially created missiles) but I don't know what to model the outside off. Mechs fine and is quite adaptable. I'm open to Rocket Launchers from games or RL. Permalink

What's the shortest WWII rifle, I want to build a small WWII black rifle or Machine gun. Any suggestions, I don't know many.
The shortest I know, is the M1a1 Carbine. It's a semi-automatic carbine of 90 cmīs long. The shortest machine gun I know is the M1919a4 of 1 meter long. Shorter than that it canīt be, machine guns are always pretty big. Permalink
1.does some one know a good rubber band / brick shooting mech thats altleast semi auto
2. or a great working scope for snipers
Bohdan has a great high-capacity mech in his folder, you could modify that to shoot bricks. But it was made for just rubber bands. I just tried it out on a pistol, and I works great. By the way, I have two pistols to post coming up. So be on the lookout! Permalink

check my page, i built a full size firing PTRS-41 Permalink
I've noticed that the biggest problem with most builder's .50 BMG Barrett rifles is the barrel. It sags, breaks, and ends up looking too squared off or too thin to be realistic.
So I am attempting to build the best barrel for large-bore rifles (.50 caliber), but it is very piece-inefficient. My current design requires 15 jumper plates for every 2-stud length. I have built a 28-stud-long barrel, using 420 jumper plates. There is no sagging, it looks round on the outside, and it has a 2-stud wide bore down the center (great for turning this into a shooting rifle). So far so good, but I'm completely out of jumper plates. Given the shorter 20" barrel of the M107, I need 540 more jumper plates. Time to go to BrickLink.
I'll post some more details on it's construction soon. Anyone have any ideas on how to build a good large-bore barrel before I spend my 'life savings' on jumper plates? Permalink

I haven't got any ideas left! Please give me an idea! I beg you all! Give me an idea for a SubMachine Gun, handgun or assault rifle. Please! And not too modern please. 1980's or earlier!

I am going to attempt to do a WWII series of guns, like Weston W's Tribute series. I need help on what to call it as well as ideas for replicas to make.
Yeah! That is what I have been waiting for! Finally someone is going to do a WWII series! Here are some suggestions from my experience doing this. First of all, rifles and machine guns would be very expensive to buy off of LDD. So that is why I didn't do them. But a SMG group or a pistol group wouldn't be a bad idea. I don't mind if you do SMGs, cause they seem to be the cheapest method with the most bang! Permalink

I'll do everything, I just won't buy the big ones. Permalink
Please watch my creations (PE-13).
Does somebody have an idea like me a shot mechanism in my weapon can insert?
Though she looks good, but she should be able to shoot already anyhow, but she is absolutely dull...
Indeed, I believe for it the optics strongly must suffer if I the mechanism wants to insert...
Well, I hope you can help me!
Thank you Permalink
