Well done to all! This was a fantastic contest this year, (blowing last years out of the water!) and a big thank you to the teams for participating. Hope to see you all next year!
| April 12, 2012, 8:17 am
Top 10 for KILLAH Bricks ..... So im glad :D
| April 12, 2012, 8:20 am
4th :)
Getting in the top five for my first MoCAthalon is a really satisfying accomplishment. I'm fortunate to have the teammates I do. Thanks guys :D

Also, a big congrats to Common Elements, Jigsaw, and GIAI, as well as all the other teams that participated!
| April 12, 2012, 8:32 am
Wooooohooooo 8th place!!!

| April 12, 2012, 8:44 am
Dang it. 34th.
| April 12, 2012, 8:59 am
22 not that bad.
| April 12, 2012, 9:00 am
3rd! Long live Team GAIA!!!
| April 12, 2012, 9:04 am
YESSSSS!!!!! 13th place!!!!!
Live on Acid Imperious!!!!!
| April 12, 2012, 9:05 am
Wow...4th place for Intrepid is a dream come true. As TheBricks said, a big thanks to all of my team mates for making this possible, all of us gave 100%. Getting for 4th in this competition is just amazing for me.

I must point out a very simple fact: Our team did not have a single AFOL, just 4 TFOLs and 1 YFOL. From an age to point ratio, I believe we did the best out of any high scoring team.

Congratulations to Common Elements, Gaia, and Jigsaw! Awesome work guys.
| April 12, 2012, 9:36 am
Considering two teammates didn't build and the other three pretty much quit at week 2, 23rd is great for My Little Pwny!
| April 12, 2012, 9:42 am
12th isn't bad, just wish the last 3 entries we had got in on time. :/ Congrats to all, this was a fun MA, I think I did pretty well, I was on a decent team with NO AFOLS! :D So, in other words, teenagers still can do good in one of these contests. :3

Great job Bazinga Bricks! Let's do it again next year!
| April 12, 2012, 9:56 am
It is finnaly over... 6th place!! :), thanks to everyone that made this MocAthalon possible: Of course the judges but also my teammates! I'm going to be right here next year, but then where even going to do better! watch out, A MOCtley Crew for the win, or 6th place...
| April 12, 2012, 10:21 am
Congratulations to Common Elements, and everyone else! (Well, except for the people who did worse than the Expendables. {I kid. ;)}) Everyone who participated and did their best should be proud, this was a stunning year. Great work, and here's to more MocAthalons to come!
| April 12, 2012, 11:08 am
5th Place! Not bad! :)

Go Globetrotters!

Watch out Common Elements, next year we're taking you down ;)
| April 12, 2012, 12:28 pm
No suprise Common Elements year our BRICKS ARE GUNNA KILL YOU! ;0
| April 12, 2012, 12:41 pm
Somehow I'm not surprised at the winners :P
Haha, congrats Elements, you more than deserved it!

And fifth isn't that shabby either :D
| April 12, 2012, 1:26 pm
Congratulations to all the winners, you enriched the community of some memorable MOCs. Congratulations to everybody participating in the athalon, cause it is a remarkable achievement to speed build for 30 days. I bow low before the judges, knowing how much work it must have been to judge, coordinate and discuss this mega event. As a mere member of the audience, I say thank you everybody for the fantastic entertainment.
| April 12, 2012, 1:26 pm
Oh yeah, and thank you judges! Your dedication and hard work is admirable, and we wouldn't have a MocAthalon without you. Speaking of such, I'd like to thank Mr. Phipson for coming up with this whole competition. My hat's off to you all!

Yup, he's the one to blame!
| April 12, 2012, 2:18 pm
Woohoo! 3rd place!
Congrats to Common Elements and everyone else! :) This has been the best MA yet and I can't wait for next year.

| April 12, 2012, 2:26 pm
Congratulations to the winning team! Common Elements was clearly in their element (no pun intended) from the moment this contest started!
Team Jigsaw and GAIA should also being congratulated on a stupendous job! Jigsaw, for me personally, was a favorite: they came out of nowhere in the second half of the game, and unloaded a flood of amazing creations upon the playing field. As for GAIA, they were a solid group from the start, and their creations were all a beauty to behold!

Congrats to the judges as well, who kept the peace, judged fairly, and put up with an un-holy amount of nonsense! You guys were the best!

Finally, I would like to thank my fellow MOCtley Crewers. If you would have told me that a hodge-podge group of builders who barely knew each other existed and had virtually no MOCAthalon experience between the five of them could manage to land in 6th place, I'd call you crazy. But it did happen! If I'm still around next year, Lord willing, I can guarantee you that MOCtely Crew will come back stronger and harder. Well-done, everyone, well-done!
| April 12, 2012, 2:36 pm
As much as I'd like to say it's a surprise that we came in second, it really isn't due to the skill set that beat us.
Common Elements was quite the team this year!
Congrats guys, it was great fun to try to take you down this year!

Though next year.... Next year will be very different indeed.

Thanks to all the judges and contestants for working their hardest to keep this contest running smoothly.
Special thanks to my teammates as well, without whom I would have actually slept this month and probably not done any building.

Next year isn't gonna get here fast enough!

Congrats to Common Elements! Great run for everybody! And thanks judges for putting up with the rest of us! XD
| April 12, 2012, 4:12 pm
Congratulations to everyone for making it through to the end. I have to say I lucked out with being on a team with three awesome builders. Not sure what happened to our 5th builder? Anyone heard from Louis? Seriously, I'm starting to get worried here... he kind of fell of the face of the earth.

Thanks to Nannan, Legohaulic & LIttlehaulic for inviting me to be part of such a dedicated team. And I thought I was a fast builder! Geez guys! If I'd not been out of town for a week, we might have completed all 30 categories...

Anyhow, it was great to see so many awesome builds from Team Jigsaw and Team GAIA and loads of other MOCers who put their best stuff forward on little to no sleep and virtually no life beyond the brick.

Finally, thanks to the judges. It's not an easy task I'm sure. Thanks for putting up with all of us.
| April 12, 2012, 4:22 pm
Congrats Common elements! Oh yeahh! Top 10 for the ANZACs!
| April 12, 2012, 4:28 pm
Well, 33 is not that bad, congratulations common elements! For just less than ten entries 33 is a good place. Next year IŽll do better.

I'd like to thank Mr. Phipson for coming up with this whole competition.

No offense, but I believe that it was Dave Shaddix's original idea for this contest.

Huge thanks to the judges for taking time out of each day to host and oversee this competition the entire month! Although we may have had some minor qualms over some scoring decisions, you all did a fantastic job putting up with us and sticking to your standards. I hope to see you all around next year!

(And correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Common Elements down one member the entire time? I don't think we could have come as close as we did to their score without that handicap.)

Huge congrats to all the teams! This was an excellent year that saw some absolutely brilliant creations. Looking forward to 2013!

Building 6 mocs in four weeks was hard but nothing compared to judging ALL those entries, so a HUGE thank you to the judges on this one and another thank you to all the other teams for their competitive spirit.

No offense but i'll just try and derail praise or credit for the guy who puts a lot of his personal time into trying to improve our community, sometimes without much in the way of thanks and often while being derided, questioned or occasionally being outright insulted or mocked.
