Good car! I think this is a good MOC. I like the wing mirrors and even though you didn't use snot techniques, I think it gives the car a nice look. You could improve on the the length of the front nose/bonnet of the car because it seems just a little too short. Also you could add some more detail inside the car on the dashboard, such as speed dial and gear stick etc. Overall a good MOC. Permalink
That is a very professional theme you have engaged in, which is a double-edged sword. On one hand it shows self-confidence and potential, but it also says you are not yet ready.
First, the sad truth:
car models require a lot of tiles, cheese slopes and other detail bricks.
The model itself though, is not bad. But not good either. it seems very plain on most parts, especially on the below shot. if you are having open studs, you can make curving lines on the hood to have an aerodynamic look or add some grills and such. Tiled surfaces would be excellent, but I know there are problems with that - if the pannels are two plates thick, a greater angle makes a gap exponentially larger than a thinner pannel.
It is not easy to say much about a creation that is not adequately detailed, except of saying it needs more details and less studs. Permalink
