i added my X-Wing http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/316814 for that category. I'm not sure if i understood you... But i think it have different symmetry lines.

From your examples, looks like you're referring to planes of mirror symmetry, David. Lines would correspond to axes of rotational symmetry. 3D objects can have both multiple planes and multiple lines of symmetry all at once. I'll see if I can come up with some examples if you're still interested.
