9393 tractor - 2nd half 2012
 Group admin
The tractor 9393 of the summer 2012 technic product line appears to be a promising set. It has some nice lime green pieces, including the #3 and #4 panels in this color - a first. The functions: HOG steering, moving blades of Tedder that rotate as it drives, and lifting Tedder.

The steering is done with the same design as many sets: 7m gear rack with 12t, 2 knob wheels. The Tedder's blades turn as the wheels do, unfortunately not with a differential as evidenced in this picture:

A universal joint is used for this mechanism, as well as this casing: This part is fairly rare, so this set is a good cheap way to get it.
The lifting of the Tedder is done with a worm gear, 8t, and two 9L steering links. More rare pieces!
The b model is an interesting, nice looking buggy. It has a working 4cylinder engine, despite the tractor not having one. It is made from axles and bushings, no normal engine parts. Quite an interesting design!

I might want to buy it for the buggy!

Agreed. The tractor (to me) seems to boxy, but the buggy has nice shaping and functions.
