No one!

The correct answer is 40,788 pieces were used to create Smolny Cathedral.

The two closest answers were Medieval Guy with 42,482 and RU Corder with 38,562. Unfortunately neither fall within the 500 range required to win.

I will be donating the prize to Creations for Charity who will be using it to give some unfortunate kids the opportunity to play with LEGO....since we all know how expensive it is!!

Thank you all for playing, and hope you have better luck next time!

Aw, so close! It's OK though, I already have thousands of LEGO bricks, and now some kid who had none can enjoy building. Neat contest by the way.

I still find it amazing you actually counted so many bricks, impressive dude, I wouldn't be a able to do it, sure I can count but I would get bored even before I reach 500 :P
