Mask shortages
Now, this is an something I have a slight difficulty with: getting the right mask.

Now, given that the nature of this competiton involves making a different version of someone else's SM, at some point, we are going to run out/not have/break the mask that we need to make said SMs.

My SM (which is on deviantart, under same username, and isn't up on here) uses an unfortunatly rarified gold kraahkan.

Not everyone will have the right mask(PARTICULARLY if it's non-purist, *ahemAuRonahem*), so if people could post an alternative mask to their SM's current one that people might be able to use if they don't have that SM's specific mask.

Creativity is encouraged. For example, for your self-MOC, I'd use a black Kraahkan or a different gold Kanohi. Custom heads are also great, though not everyone can make them, which is fine.
I do suppose that this thread is worthwhile, though, so I won't lock it. But in the future, please ask a mod or admin before you start a new topic. :)

Wow gold kraahkan didn't know they made any. I have that problem drastically. Luckily masks are cheap on bricklink. :)

You do not need the exact mask of your opponent. Especially since certain categories will encourage different themes, you certainly do not need to have their mask. Creative liberties can and should be taken.

And yes, you should not create new topics like this, I'll add a questions thread, but general conversation would have been appropriate.
