If you see that this thread has been updated, be sure to check out what was posted last, as it is probably important.

Here is where we can easily discuss our plans for Universal Challenges, the Tourney, Regional Challenges, etc.

Well guys, Nerogue succeeded in defending its own villages and towns, but we did not succeed in defending all of the Mythronian villages and towns.

Now we are onto the UC: Aftermath.
http://www.mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=22392&topicid=92015

Mythron wants us to join and train with them in their army at Rainos and help them keep that....I'd say no way! With no "thank you for saving many of our villages" from Mythron, I suggest pulling out of the Rainos front. Now Mythron doesn't want us to continue with defending their villages and towns. Fine. We did well anyway, even though we did risk our lives, and lost quite a few men.

Forget this! We will have our own training grounds starting in Zorthan - Zorthan is almost complete (see current goals thread http://www.mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=23068&topicid=91477)

Just a refresher from the challenge:
Quoting Universal Challenge: Aftermath Nerogue:

You no longer have Mythron's trust. Many of your troops, regarded as undisciplined militia by the traditional army, have been "invited" to serve with (read: under) Mythronian companies in Rainos while the "real" army handles the Outlaws. Either offer your services to the throne and join the ranks, or try to save a bit of face by investigating the Black Lotus and its movements in Worsan.

Anyway, for the challenge, I suggest GET OUT OF RAINOS and let Mythron do its thing with defending its towns and villages and liberating its citizens from the Outlaw's grasp. Meanwhile, we will go do the fun stuff - stealth! Going back to many of our past experiences in the Outlaw way of life, we will do some of our own sleuthing and find out what these rumors of the Black Lotus are all about....

I'm thinking about doing a free build showing my character finding information about the Black Lotus in Bodus, and THEN going to Wosan, we'll see how that turns out :)

Remember, if you enact any of the current goals in your builds, then you get a longstanding honorary link to your creation in that thread.

What Nerogueians are doing

• "Serve under Mythronian Companies in Rainos"
Notes: I HIGHLY suggest that you get OUT of Rainos and OUT of the service under Mythron. But if you choose to do so, you are still in the category of the challenge

• "investigate the Black Lotus and its movements in Worsan"
Notes: I suggest doing this part of the challenge and NOT the other one.

Ok. We NEED you guys defending the towns. Mythron is ONLY attacking Rainos, so your guys first priority should be defending the cities. I know a few of you guys want to be on the front lines, but if you really want to prove your alliance to us, you need to help us where we need it the most. Planning in a public group won't help much either, because Outlaws and Rainos will be able to see your every move and use that to their advantage, easily crushing us. That is why Mythron is now a private group for the time being, and have kicked out any and all Rainosians and Outlaws.

Yes, the Pirates. They may be our biggest enemy. :P I'd suggest maybe two people on Pirate duty, because MAYBE they will have a pirate, but possibly and probably not. The rest of Nerogue should be defending the cities. They can't attack Reedus, so that's three cities to split your forces and defend. I'm in no position to be giving out any form of orders, only suggestions, you have to follow through and tell your people where to go and what to do.

As long as we defend the mainland we are okay. Actual locations where the Outlaws attack will not effect if we don't "defend" the same exact thing. They cannot attack cities, the challenge specifically states villages :)

These are the General missions that should be covered:

Mythron:
- Strait of Division against Enalica.
- Sea battle against Rainos near the circle (Nerogue could possibly cover this part since there aren't a lot of Enalica pirates)
- Circle battle against Rainosians.

Nerogue:
- Strait of Division against Enalica
- Guard mainland villages/towns

Rainos:
- Sea battle against Mythron near the circle
- Circle battle against Mythronians

Enalica:
- Sea battle against Mythronians and Nerogueians

Outlaws:
- Board one of the ships (secretly or forced) and fight for that ship's side.
- Attack villages/towns on the mainland or on Rainosian land.

As long as those things are covered (with decent builds of course) we are good. If the outlaw members attack a different location, we showed that the Nerogueians were defending, and they can counter each other depending on the quality of the builds. The general missions will influence the total outcome - not specific locations.

We don't need to split our forces to specific locations, it's just the general mission :)

What I don't get is how you intend to reach land if you can't get past the fleet. The idea is that the Mythronians have to pass both the Rainosian and Nerogueian navies if they wish to succeed. In fact, that was the major component of the challenge: Give Enalica a chance to shine while Mythron and Rainos go at each other hammer and tongs. The land battles aren't supposed to happen unless your alliance wins this round, and even then they won't take place until October!

Quoting Mythron Attacks Challenge Either attack on land on the main point against Rainosian soldiers...

There is a land battle...definitely some soldiers made it to the land because ships can't guard the entire waters, the could have been dropped off earlier and then arrived at the main point where the rest of the soldiers would come from the rest of the transport ships.

Not officially, no. If a Nerogueian member does a build, he will not be on a Mythronian ship. But I guess there could be Nerogueian members on some Mythorn ships - but it is very minimal (since we already had a Rainosian say that there were Nerogueians at the circle fighting the Rainosians)

Oh, right. I was thinking of the concept challenge, not the official version - sorry!
Nevertheless, the bulk of the Mythronian army cannot land if they lose the naval battle. It might be wise for them... That is, us... to show both land and sea in our UCMA MOCs.

The challenge states that we should investigate the "Black Lotus and its movements in Worsan." So I would suggest going there, and not to Bodus. You could do Bodus IF you do it as a free build, but it wouldn't count towards the UC Aftermath.

http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/385162

Link to the main post:
http://www.mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=22392&topicid=95381

Nerogue:
The society you have attempted to rejoin is plunging into chaos. Your lands in the east of Mythron are far from safe, but you have another issue on your hands: working out the secrets of the Black Lotus so that you may take the just course in the future. Darvainian, your leader, is launching a covert investigation with the intent of finding the members of the Inner Council. You have the decision to take up arms against the horde or go undercover to help your leader get to the bottom of this.

Objectives:
- Choose a town, village or castle and defend its area against incursions
- Join a BL regiment or infiltrate their territory in disguise to learn where they will strike and who their leaders are
- Complete a specific mission assigned by your faction leader (see below)

Obviously the BL (Black Lotus) will now be more aggressive, so defending our towns, villages, etc will definitely be important. Now that the Outlaws have heard about this, no doubt many of them will claim to be a member of the "Black Lotus." By claiming to be part of the BL, they will hope to instill fear in the hearts of the people and plunder mercilessly. Of course, capturing every single outlaw for information will be an extremely tedious task. So tedious in fact, that we should avoid it entirely unless we are forced to do so (like if a so called Black Lotus attacks us on the road or something).

However, we as former outlaws ourselves know how Outlaws think. Therefore, it is imperative that we investigate and try to join one of these Black Lotus clans in hopes that we will eventually find the true scoundrels of this plot and thwart their evil plans. With the power of fear and darkness that they have inflicted upon the land, the only way to stop it from growing is to permeate the fear with truth and drive away the darkness with light. Onwards Nerogueians! For Truth! For Justice!

Nerogueian special challenge (besides the other objectives mentioned above):
- Go to Reedus where the deed happened and investigate (under cover of course) the scene. It is likely that fear has taken the hearts of the people there, and outlaws may run free because of the event that happened. So be very cautious. Find and talk to who you think may have seen something...anything. (this can be tied in with the other challenge that stated how you can join/spy on potential BL members)

*DISCLAIMER
We cannot yet find out who exactly is behind all of this. As such, we aren't allowed to find/capture/kill anyone from the real Black Lotus or things like that. Those things may come in a later challenge. But, since many fake Black Lotus outlaw gangs are out there, you could attack them (unless you are joining them in hopes to find clues to the real Black Lotus).

Fellow Nerogueians...I have found that it is very easy for us to join various BL groups that could lead us to the Black Lotus Leadership!

Because of the specifications of the current UC challenge, we are allowed to join this group (and I recommend that we all join that group):
http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/23915

In the "Comment Here" thread in that group, DO NOT give your true identity or Nerogue will be at great risk! Come up with a spy alias for yourself and complete certain BL missions to gain other anti-Mythronian Black Lotus members' acceptance and trust to a certain extent. If my suspicions are correct, I recon that several Outlaws will also be trying to thwart the BL schemes.

A group that has recently expanded their cause from an inner circle to a large army of sorts who's mission is to tear Mythron down to the ground. A part of our overall mission for the UC is to find out more about these BL sub-groups to find leads to that inner circle I mentioned earlier.

Merry's head
Dark brown elf hair from Barrel Escape
Dark green cape
(I vary what torso my character has, and usually I use the wizard legs that came with the Kingdom's chess set)

Hey guys! What are your plans for your MOC (if you think you might do one for this challenge)?

I'm thinking of heading to Reedus and searching about at night for clues.

I'm going to spy on the Black Lotus.

I was thinking of doing my rank challenge, (happened a week before the assassination) then when he is murdered you offer me the position of Governor (or whatever) of Morthog, where construction has been underway for a good while, and I will go and order the construction of defensive outpost towers surrounding the city.

The latest UC is now up!

http://www.mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=22392&topicid=96110

Our breakdown:
Nerogue - Stay undercover in the BL's camp, without shedding blood, and prepare to switch sides at the critical moment. Or, join Mythron's camp and help them prepare for the battle.

Things you could do if in Black Lotus camp (none are required, just throwing it out there):
- Coordinate to stay near a few other Nerogueian spies whenever there may be a signal to "switch sides." This will keep you somewhat less vulnerable when the time comes.
- Look for key commanding officers or leaders so that when the time is right, they are taken out first. Take out the leaders -> take out the strength.

Things you could do if at Mythron's camp (none are required, just throwing it out there):
- Show Mythronian commanders catapult technology that you or your men have developed (or are developing) or other clever ways to hinder large armies from advancing on a city (Example: way to unleash large rocks onto a patch of land at at certain time to hinder horses from being able to navigate well and sort of forcing an army group to move in a way we want them to).
- Join a training squad and warm-up on your fighting tactics - get organized, plan, be prepared.
- Talk with Mythornian commanders to station you and your men hide from sidelines to plan to attack the Black Lotus from the side instead of head-on (could be especially useful in concealing catapults that could launch huge rocks).
- In any case, it is encouraged that you participate in some sort of strategic battle-planning/preparations. (and not just hang around at a Mythronian camp)

Feel free to add-in with your thoughts! What are your plans?

This is from the Mythronian faction group, and I thought it might be helpful to you, after all, I am an ambassador.....

Quoting Halhi 141
One thing that might be nice is if we can get more Mythronians placing in the UCs. I'll post more advice in the future once I push Señor Gills out of Meids, but for now, here's a few tips:

1. Know your limits. People generally try to build bigger than they can for the wow effect, but that can also be achieved with a smaller MOC. Take my LOM: Pursuit, for instance - it's only about 32x32 (albeit pretty tall), yet it's almost at 100 likes. Try to build at the perfect size so that it's detail/technique-heavy and very aesthetically pleasing. That brings me to number 2...

2. Every area of your creation should have detail in it. Here's a general rule of thumb that I've thought about - you should be able to take any random 8x8 section of your MOC and see something of interest in it. In other words, plain ground, flat walls, too much repetition, etc should be avoided.

3. Innovate! Seriously, innovation is the key to building success. Most of the lead UC placers have some sort of innovative technique or style - I have my rockwork and timber techniques, Gilbert has his heavy tile use, Infy has his unique colors... See the point? That being said, make sure that new techniques are effective - classic techniques that look good are better than new techniques that look sloppy. However, if a new technique looks about as good as a classic technique, the new technique is preferable.

Hope that was helpful! I'll post more in the future. If you want, I can do run-downs of specific members' skills...

The latest UC is open for building!
http://mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=22392&topicid=96626

Our breakdown:
Obviously your ties to the king and his kingdom are your primary concern in this challenge. What do you think - should your faction try to build close connections with your western neighbors (creating order) or are those blue-coats still beneath your trust (choosing justice)? Show how you feel in an encounter with some Mythronians.
If that's not your thing, you can always hunt some ex-Lotus bandits, too.

If you choose the Black Lotus part:
Since Borin has been exposed, BL groups are now having a taste of their own medicine. They are now the ones in fear - but they won't go down without a fight. Make sure no BL groups remain in-tact. Yes, these can be high-up BL members (even one council member if you'd like). Just make sure you show that it is a tough fight.

For the other part of the challenge, feel free to show whatever your character is thinking about the situation.

Greetings Neroguians! Both of our factions need an ally. Otherwise, Rainos and Enalica's alliance will destroy us. One faction isn't enough to destroy those maniacs. Allying with Rainos is wrong. Those hypocrites fight against us trying to invade them, yet they're the invaders. They rebelled and invaded our territory on Rainos, and now they're trying to take our continent! As for the land, we've decided to give it to you. You deserve it for helping us so much. We need to work on solidifying our union. A loose alliance filled with distrust won't be productive for either of us. We need unity. Thanks for your help and thanks for reading!

Otherwise, Rainos and Enalica's alliance will destroy us.

I guess Rainos and Enalica have teamed up... Anyway, here are my thoughts on the alliance:

FOR:
Accepting the terms would officially grant us the land.

We would have a very strong ally with us in the event of an attack from Enalica or Rainos. (Or any kind of attack).

I do believe that the Mythronians share more values with us Nerogueians.

AGAINST:
On the other hand, if we accept this alliance, it may seem that since we are "of one mind" it may seem like we are one (for lack of better words) empire. Also it would seem as though we will always be an ally of Mythron.... :/

It may seem like we are joining back into Mythron.

Also, who is it that really needs an ally: us, them, or both of us?....

CONCLUSION:
Those are just my thoughts. However, I would side with allying ourselves with them (especially since Rainos and Enalica are allied). Hope this helps!

Mythron has granted us much land that they haven't been using. It would be unwise to turn down such an offer. We are expanding and we need the land. Mythorn hasn't done us any harm, now they are returning the favor that we have helped them as well as a bit extra for us siding with them in case another faction attacks them. The way the story is going now, it wouldn't make any sense for us not to accept their offer.

Yes we are about justice, why would staying with Mythron be unjust? UC's are in some ways influenced by what people build believe it or not. If we are agreeable in this month that will show in next month's challenge. Honestly, it would not be just to Nerogueian citizens if we did not accept this offer. In reality, iot would be foolish to decline it.

Thanks, I've seen it, but didn't Mythron oppress it's citizen and tax them out of their houses? Surely we don't want to be allying ourselves with these people if the entire focus of Nerogue is justice?
Also, it'll be way more interesting if Nerogue and Mythron broke their alliances. This is starting to look like it's just gonna be a typical goodies versus baddies fight between the barbarians/ pirates and the shiny knights/ justice people.

Many years ago they seemed to have done that - which is why Rainos rebelled. The king who was assassinated might also have tried to do that, but now Sadon is king. Why not give him a chance? It's not fair to fault a person because of his family's issues. Mythron (or any other faction) is not oppressing its citizens. The past is in the past, they have new leadership.

Don't worry, the staff group has a plan to end this good vs. evil thing.

About the Sadon thing, mabye he is a good king, but surely all the lords and noblemen who became corrupt under Rowan (or even earlier) are still money grabbing crooks? Mythron needs a reform. Hopefully Sadon can will live up to his expectations.

Well I'm guessing most of those crooks were part of the Black Lotus inner council and have thus been running away from all those trying to catch them.

Beginning thoughts:

Greetings Mythronians! All too true. We were surprised by Rainos's attack. You'd think that they would keep to themselves after they gained hold of that land. They cannot advance further. Agreed, trust is vital, and our union must be strengthened as it would be advantageous to both of us. We give our utmost gratitude and thanks for granting us the land! Our rapid growth left us to some hard times, especially in Tomeu because of the overpopulation. This will allow us to purge much of the land from vile creatures and provide safe trade routes between us as well as new homes for the citizens here. We promise to keep the land in great condition to the best of our ability, and we would be glad to come alongside you in time of defense of Mythron against those that come against it. We are honored to fight alongside your strong men. Thank you once more for your generous offer, and may there be peace among us.

Signed: characters

And Asad, do NOT send this over to Mythron as we are not done with it, these are just opening thoughts of what we might send. (which we might send via MOC instead) Thanks

Cool! Can't wait to discuss. :)

What we could do is discuss here the key terms and conditions that weren't actually stated in the MOC.

Opening thoughts?
What should we promise in return for the land? And to what extent?

It would have worked out, but I needed people to be discussing here before I posted the MOC...oh well, maybe next time :)
I'd rather people give their actual characters something to say rather than me making it up, but not many people check in here often enough yet.

Latest challenge!

http://mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=22392&topicid=97207

It would be great if someone could build a MOC relating to meeting with King Sadon discussing terms and such of the treaty from the letter that was sent to him...maybe a large crossover with a bunch of us and a bunch of Mythronians? That would be pretty sweet if you ask me. Even if we all did a bunch of small MOCs that linked to the next part of the story.

If you're interested, let me know and I'll also be trying to get some Mythronians together for this.

Psh. No bloody idea. I don't have a very strong agreement with either side. Maeglin is still in Nerogue, so I'll have to use Tas'tan or Carn and his pals again. Perhaps the Black Assassin (from the end of my latest build) will have Tas'tan fight for one side. Or maybe Tas'tan will hire himself out as a mercenary. Or maybe Carn and friends will head to Rainos and try to negotiate.
Or maybe I'll just go cry in a dark corner...

Are you going to enter?

I probably won't be able to enter.

Gilbert's question doesn't really relate to us because, as you said, we done agree with either side. The Ibers are attacking Enalican land for gold and territory, and the Dragons figure they can use this opportunity to crush it's biggest rival clan as well as get in on some of the gold. Which is why our challenge has us going to help the Enalicans fight off the Ibers from their land/gold.

I gave you the wrong facts, the Ibers right now are sided with Enalica, it is the Dragons that are doing the attacking. Sorry about that, but not much changes, we are after te Dragons, not the Ibers (at least for now).

The Dragons want to take over the island (both the Iber half and the Enalicans half), and both the Ibers and Enalicans are trying to fight off the Dragons (now we are as well).

http://www.mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?
id=22392&topicid=100099

We will need to be very cautious about our actions since the Outlaws border us to the Northeast. Making a wrong move may provoke them to anger. I agree with your comments about making peace with the new Nation. But I'm not sure I would call them allies. They might be forcing some areas under submission.

Let some of us go there as diplomats for peace, and some of us as spies to see if we should actually ally with them. There are rumors about having some areas be forced into joining the Confederation. Find any evidence that may be used to prove the trustworthiness of the rumors.

Yeah, pros and cons

Pros:
1.Their on our border, so we might want to get them on our side, to protect our back, per se.
2.We might be able to benefit economically, though I'm not sure how.
3.We might be able to spread "Peace and Reason" to them if we form an alliance.
4.They might be able to supply us with some valuable information, seeing as the Outlaw territory is a hub of spies and travelers in general.

Cons:
1.Their Outlaws, they could stab us in the back.
2.Depending how they turn out they could be purely a dead-weight on us economically/militarily.
3.We might not want to be associated with them, though I say that should not be a factor.

That's my take. Any things I've forgotten? Any rebuttals?

I agree. Now, I'm not Neroguian, but I think Nerogue could use this very much to their own advantage, especially if you wind up being the only faction to recognize them (unlikely, as Rainos will probably support them). But yeah, I would say, this situation, handled properly, could bring advantage to Nerogue.

I am planning on doing this month's RC, as are Joseph and Joel I believe. An RC is fairly similar to a UC. However, an RC is more centered around your character, whereas a UC is centered around a major happening. Technically this month's challenge is a UC.

The stereotypical protectors of truth and justice, overall perfect people." And my idea, when I joined, was to join a smaller faction and build it up butttt... apparently lots of people like Nerogue now soo I kinda wanna move...

AND it fits right in with my story! Soo idk... Maybe I will, maybe I won't.

The pretty-boy image of Nerogue is really disliked by everyone, Nerogue members includes. Slowly, we have begun to erode that image and it makes us seem not so perfect. All of the active members have included aspects in their stories that contradict that pretty-boy image.

I think an active faction such as ourselves is better than a faction that does little besides build.

Just my two cents.

So about the Feb. RC. Should we make allies with Outlaws, and trade with them. Or should we refuse to trade. My build is about 92% done, but I still need to know if we should make allies with them or not to....

Right now it's pretty much just feel them out. Most of us are leaning toward making allies with them, but we aren't committing, at least not as a whole.

^This.

People love to pick on us and heap tons of stereotypes on us.

Yeah, one of the major reasons I do a lot here is because I want to ruin those stereotypes. And it's a whole lot of fun! :P

Someday though, I think we will erode most of those stereotypes.

Right now we are gathering information, and most of us are leaning towards an alliance.

As to explain it, basically have someone go to Bodus finding/observing things about the outlaws that would help confirm or deny our initial ideas of accepting them as a new Confederation.

Likely by now you've all seen the current UC.

This is going to be rough for us, I'm sure of it. Our greatest threat - Mythron, is now full-out against us. We must defend out own and protect what we have made. It also seems that Rainos, the faction that we protected against a Mythronian invasion, is going to stay back and do nothing....at least for now. While Rainos may think they have their own strategies, they know nothing of what we have.

In order to make it through this, we must utilize our network of spies and secret networks to continue to the flow of goods and resources between us and the outlaw and sabotage any plans Mythron has of cutting us off from all sides.

We must make do with what we have and prepare for what Mythron and its new ally Enalica may bring against us. I for one would like to know why Mythron prepares to attack us when we have not touched their land.

If we can do this and push Mythron back from our borders, then....then my friends, there will be nothing that will withstand against us. We will not fail while we are weak, and we will not be unwise whilst weak either.

We will stand strong, and we will defend....FOR NEROGUE!

Something pretty exciting is about to come to Nerogue!

In the staff group we have redone what Quest challenges are. So, pretty soon Nerogue will have its own Quest under the new system.

(Joseph will be posting the Quest)

As a bit of a teaser, there will be 5 categories to build for in a time period of 6 weeks. You can build for 1 or all 5 categories, and each build is worth 3 points.

I'm excited, that's for sure! :D

And I should be able to build for it since the deadline will be in May :D :D :D

I'll be like Benny who was finally able to build a spaceship!

Greetings fellow Nerogueians! You are now in the know about a secret project that has been in the works for quite some time now.

Welcome to the Warship Project. Also known as Project Sea lion.

Nerogue, seeing as its navy is very small and lacking in anything advanced feared Enalica may take over some of its islands in the South. Thankfully they have withdrawn, but if they hadn't, Nerogue would have had nothing with which to drive them away...until now.

Near the Sea of Deshbog, a formidable shipbuilding site has been constructed secretly, and only those who know about it can find it because of how well it is hidden. Nerogue already has several warships built, and more are being built at this new site. The Sea of Deshbog provides a perfect cover to build and test new ships without the other factions knowing about it.

Now that Mythron has left, the project can finally be utilized to its full potential and ultimately allow Nerogue to defend its coastal lands.

If you wish to use this as your UC instead of the other category presented in the main group, you may build for one of the below categories:

1. Oversee the collection of materials for the warships (wood-cutting site, cloth-make, tar site, iron site that makes for ship armor, etc.)
2. Show the transportation of materials to the build site secretly
3. Show the building site and people building the ships (emphasis on incomplete ships)

This build site is for warships for the Nerogueian navy rather than personal warships. It sounds like the ship you're talking about would be one to explore and do things on its own which I don't think quite fits here.

Hmmmm, that encounters a problem. I would like to have a warship where I could go to Mythron and attack there ships and shores in a ship not under the Neroguian flag so Nerogue would not be blamed for it. But this ship would still respond to calls by Nerogues Commanders. It would be perhaps a lone wolf ship that would come into its navy when needed.

Very cool :D I feel like I have been practicing for this month my last 2 posts :) Zeph and Enella will definitely need to get in on this one. I love the idea of showing ships being worked on! Thanks again for the inspiration!

Alright so David tell me if this is ok:

Pippin the Pirate Pig has been hired by Nerogue to command their new Navy. Pippin now being supreme commander orders for a Warship to be built for him under his personal blueprints. This Warship will be the flagship of the Nerogue navy under the command of Supreme Admiral Pippin the Pig who would Lead the Nerogue Navy. But also since Pippin has become friends with my characters he would help them if they needed transportation across seas or anything.

Is this idea ok? I mean I really want to build a Flagship type thing and have Pippin be like a commander of something but I want to ask you first. Also if you choose to allow this would you allow a cameo of your character promoting Pippin to his rank? Thanks.

Hmmm, not sure making him the leader of the navy would be allowed... but I like the Privateer idea! Perhaps he could be in charge of a fleet of Nerogueian Privateers? I'll ask the Staff.

Alright well, the pig is already one of the best seamen in the world because he is the "Worlds Most Dangerous Pirate" so maybe he could be the head, but I'll figure something out to please everyone.

Wait a minute, I live in __! If I am correct it seems that you have mentioned that you live nearby your cousin or something, which means he probably lives in __. And one of my neighbors has the last name of Olson (have not really met them though). Does you cousin live in the same neighborhood as me??? Or am I completely wrong because Olson is a fairly common last name.

it is a little hard to explain but it is a council (obviously) called the high council, they are meeting in the fortress in the center of Zorthan. in the meeting we are appointing leaders of cities and military, Navy etc. Jako Marsden and Jaron have already been appointed to different things,

Yeah well what I was orginally gonna do was have a small council in the town of Dengard but I have changed my mind and I want to do something like this:

Percy (my main character) was a former Black Lotus member (to be explained during the council) and became a highly skilled ranger. The spy council has learned this through, obviously, spying. Now with his skills they would like him to train an elite group of Rnagers to be used as a special task force for offense and another group trained for defense. But that is just his cover for this. He is still to be training these Rangers in secret but he is also the be hunting down the remaining black lotus. The spy council has heard that a black lotus cult has been formed from the remaining members and they are now gathering strength. Nerogue wants Percy to stop them becuase they do not want the word to spread to much and he is a former black lotus and knows their ways.

At this council I would like to have the following characters:
Jaron and Marsden (Hildigrim Took)
Jako (Joel Tyler)
Kelby (Joesph Olson)
Davarinain (David FJN)
Maeglin (Ben Ehre)

Would this be alright for the council?

I like this. However, is there any way to make it so that it is not so much the Black Lotus, but a group of extremists that rose from the failures of the Black Lotus? I realize that the Black Lotus has already played a major part in your story, but the Black Lotus has fallen, and it would be nice if we didn't try to bring them back. Just a thought. :)

I see your point, how about I call them "The League of Assassins" (got the name from DC comics). Seems like it could fit it well enough, I will say they were created by former memebers of the Back Lotus. Does that work better?
