Contest #2: Rahkshi Halloween Fest
Two words: not dead. For some reason, I couldn't access MOCpages. I had to wait a bit, but now that the contest is done, here's another. We have recently received images of the new Bionicle 2015 sets.

Make sure to check them out here: http://www.majhost.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=289265

So, in honour of the 'Skull Kraata', we are going to have a Rahkshi contest. Here are the rules:

1: You must build a Rahkshi that is combined with something else. For example, a Tahu Rahkshi, a classic space Rahkshi, an Dalek Rahkshi, an ice-cream Rahkshi; you name it.
2: The Rahkshi must be made of primarily Bionicle, Technic or CCBS pieces, however you may use whatever other parts out of system or whatever you like on the model.
3: The deadline is one month from now, so that's the 16th of October. Be ready.
4: Anyone in the group can enter, except for me.
5: No use of profanity, explicitness of politics in your model.
6: There will be two winners one will be voted on, and the other will be chosen by myself.
7: The winner will have their Rahkshi placed in the Bionicle Hype Train storyline on Custom Bionicle Wiki. Everyone else's will be there too, but the winner will have the most focus and the others will be background characters.

8: NOW THIS IS IMPORTANT. You must name your MOC with 'B2015HG Rahkshi Fest: _____ Rahkshi', with the blank being where you insert a title of your choosing. Then, you must add it in the group.

So, for example, 'B2015HG Rahkshi Fest: Omega Tahu Rahkshi'

Okay, so play nice. I expect to see more than just four entries this time. I mean, they're Rahkshi. How hard can it be?

This'll be fun (hopefully I'll do better)

oh god please no rahkshi

(By the way, it's "Skull Krata", not "Skull Kraata", so it may have nothing to do with Rahkshi. At all.)

Possibly a typo on the box, or a letter was being covered up.

Hey I made a Rahkshi almost covered with blades and spikes but I don't know what to call it. It's black, silver and dark blue.

Give it a cool custom name and add 'rahk' on the end. So, maybe Storahk, or Mirahk?

Ok it's just in the rules you said it had to be something like 'tahu Rahkshi or something.

A typo is unlikely, LEGO is usually very good with that kind of stuff. It's not possible for a letter to be covered up, because there's nothing there to cover up a letter. If you look on the box, you can clearly see it says "Skull Krata". I honestly doubt that it has anything to do with Rahkshi. Heck, it's possible that this could be a reboot, which means that Rahkshi won't be in Gen 2.

I don't know if this will help my entry but I put my entry on Custom Bionicle Wiki with a backstory and stuff like that. If your interested here's a link:

If you can repost it on MOCpages with the rule requirements in check, then it should count.

5 days of the contest left and I'm still the only person with an entry for this contest.

Have I won since I'm the only person with an entry? I don't want to rush people or something like that but It's just there's only a few days left and I'm still the only person with an entry.

Well, either way you'll win. If one other person enters, then you both in. But if two do, then its a contest. Shame, I really wanted another contest. Oh well, the next one might get a few people interested. It's the 'gender-bending contest'. you take an existing MOC that someone else has built and swap the gender. How does that sound? I'm still working out the little details, though...

Sounds like fun, and if I win, does that still mean that my entry will be in the next part of the Hype Train storyline?

I'm thinking of abandoning that storyline. Sorry, but I do something else to it a few years later. Got a cool name for it?

Not yet but if I think of one I'll tell you.

**SIGH**
Nobody else entered, so Makuta's Descendant is the winner. You have full bragging rights for a contest nobody else entered in.

WHY DID NO ONE ELSE ENTER?! WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!

Rahkshi are cliche and overdone. You need to challenge people's creativity to get people to enter. I have had an idea for a contest which could get people to enter, if you'd like to hear it.

Make it a canon character only, then you're talking.

Not canon- someone else's MOC...

You could do that too, I guess. But I've been in contests where that didn't work. Not my call though; yours.

The idea is to take someone else's self-MOC and swap the gender. The best MOC wins. That's all. Still, a canon character sounds interesting. Maybe another time...
