Here you can bribe all us judges. (in jest of course!)

I was inspired to do this by Grant Davis, from TT 2017.

So here we go! :P

How to bribe me:

1. Know Tolkien, be knowledgeable on the categories.

2. Use new techniques...don't just recycle old ones.

3. Try to capture the grandeur of Middle Earth in your entries, no matter how small or large it is.

:P

OK, here are a few tips from the "outcast" judge:

1. If you're making a landscape, please use natural colors.

2. If you want to leave any fourth wall builder comments yadda yadda, I will gladly read them provided that you clearly mark where the section begins, be it with boldface, capital letters, large font, etc.

3. PLEASE don't try putting your links in the introduction. It just won't work!

4. Come up with your own techniques, even if you feel that it's been done before, just DO it! I really like when builders escape their comfort zone.

How to bribe me:

Photos

1. As Grant said in TT: Please DON'T use a potato as a camera.

2. Also please DON'T take photos that look like they were taken in Gollum's cave. A nice clear background would be nice

3. I LOVE new ideas when it comes to LOTR creations. I also love entries that come from your own imagination or show your LOTR knowledge and are not just a copy from what we all know from the movies. (Mainstream Helm's Deep MOCs are cool, too if they're built well, but to me they become a bit boring the more often I see them :P)

4. Don't forget to put the MELO banner on your homepage. Oh and: Donations are always great. :D :D

I checked out your MOCs. Your photos are totally ok, I just don't want really bad picture quality or dark light, so that I can't see anything. Your MOCs all have good or ok picture quality. You don't have to buy a HD camera for this contest :P

How to Bribe Me:

Good luck, I'm barely around as it is and probably wouldn't notice if you tried.

Does tying you all in chairs with swords to your neck count as bribing?
