Hello I deleted my old account but the comments are still there with my original full name and everything, I'd really like to get these deleted because they open up opportunities for people to doxx me.

http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/58550

These comments by christopher george are mine and I would really like them deleted

If you can Id like any others by this account to be deleted as well. I can no longer log in since I deleted the whole account.

Hi No Name, I'm sorry to hear that these comments may be an issue for you. Unfortunately I (and the other admins) lack the ability to delete them, only Sean Kenney can do this. Hopefully he will see it here - he checks in from time to time.

Alternatively, creators of a MOC may delete comments on their MOCs. If you can contact the creators of MOCs you've commented on and get them to delete the comments that could work too.

Id greatly appreciate that he deletes them. I think that creator is probably long gone by now, so I don't know if its worth bothering

I don't know if anyone is able to do that. I imagine Sean could do that assuming the database is reasonably well designed, but I'm not sure how things work under the hood or what his familiarity with the database is. Thanks for finding the links to those comments, that will definitely help if Sean does come by.

I could really use an update on this, has Sean been around at all to check this thread?

Nope, just like he's never on.

Does Sean even know this place still exists?

Of course, especially when there's a book to promote.

Yep. That's all this site is to him anymore.

If he has time to come over here and mass-delete comments he definitely has time to make a single comment with answers or something.

Ha, I'm way past the point of giving him any slack at all.

I mean this is a pretty big hole in the "delete account" feature. I really didnt expect these comments I made when I was like 10 to stay.

Okay seriously this is getting ridiculous. Its been like a month and these comments still exist. Ive been pretty patient, but you guys really need to find some way of getting around this. I cannot have my personal information readily available like this.

I don't know the extent of your mod powers, but is there any way you can hide or unlist these pages?

Unfortunately I have absolutely no ability to delete comments on creations, and I don't think any of the other admins do either except for Sean Kenney. Your best bet would be to try to contact him outside of MOCpages, perhaps on Twitter or some other site.

If you are an EU citizen, remind Sean about the GDPR. He will be pleasantly surprised by the size of the fines...

Ultimately, your best option is to contact each creator of each moc where you want the comments deleted and ask them to delete it. Or change your email address.

You can take some level of solace knowing that there is absolutely no traffic here, so the chances are slim to none that anyone is really paying attention or care at all about a passing address on a moc that few people check out and take any time to peruse the comments section of anyways. Wow, that's sad and insulting on just about every level. Go Mocpages!
