LEGO's regards: Leaked images

Seen this or not, this is quite important.

Leaked images of LEGO's new products have been a common subject of heated conversations for years. As those with the LEGO hobby have activated and began having interest in the company's newest actions, the information of new sets is very wanted stuff.

However the leaked images aren't good regarding the company itself. At worst case pictures gone in wrong hands can mean a high economical loss to the company. Competitive companies are waiting for the leaked images to copy the products and mess with the market of LEGO. Therefore the threat is clear and LEGO works hard to fix the leaks. With cooperative companies the fixes are only partial, for the rest LEGO needs the help from us builders/fans.

You can read LEGO's message from this pass-on pdf:
It was signed by LEGO's current CEO, so this is a very serious thing.

Finland's largest builder group Palikkatakomo already applied this as a rule: Showing leaked images is forbidden. I'd say we support the same.
