So what are YOUR plans for the weekend?

I've been curious to know what other builder's special interests are in Brickworld, or what they're planning on participating in over the course of the weekend? Seeing other builder's work is obvious, but what about the different seminars and special events?

As for me, I'm looking forward to the lights display, and Arthur Gugick's seminar on architecture (still trying to get there in time for that one, though!).

I'm also excited about some of the sale events with Brickforge, PAB at the Con, as well as the weekend sales at the stores. I don't have a Lego store in Indianapolis, so it's a rare treat to have access to one of their stores. What about the rest of you guys?

Like you, the opportunity for PAB is a treat. Arthur's presentation is one I hope to make to as well, and I may try to get my animation studio up and running again so that's one I'm interested in, but it's the same time are Arthur's. The "Fling Things" and the Bots Challenge may be fun, but I think what I look forward to the most is meeting people and picking up tips and ideas. Also, I hope to get a chance to talk to some of the LEGO folks (I'm advocating a return of Classic Space!).
I may even dust off some of the old journalism skills and do a story or photo essay, just for grins.

It's too bad everyone can't be at every part of Brickworld. It hurts us to double up workshops and presentations, but these are all facts of life.

Work has to come first - why? because it supports the hobby :)

Nobody should feel bad about missing parts of the event. The idea is to make the most of it for you.

What am I looking forward to most?

Goosing Dave's wife!!! (thanks Dave)

I will use my one goose wisely and then you can see just how fast a 300 pound man can run :)

Ah, I am glad we got an MOC page to post on...sometimes the less serious stuff is a lot more fun :)

Is he selling tickets? Maybe a trade?
Phipson gave me a fee-bee last year, but I was thinking I might diversify a bit this time around.

It's been nice knowing you, Dave.
Mark, you might think it was free, but you know there's a "hidden charge" he intends to collect on this year . . .

Good thing Heather's bringing the popcorn and I've got the lawn chairs.

Dave, don't give away our other plan to increase cash flow for Lego too soon . . . .

Hmm...*brain gears spinning wildly*...I could buy an awful lot of LEGO selling tickets. ;-)

I love that even the older MOCerz are as "LeGo CrAzY" as I am.XD

I am sad to say that my plans for the BrickWorld 2011 weekend are NOT to be at BrickWorld. I made a commitment approximately 3 years ago to be at an event in Stockholm, Sweden which got scheduled for the same weekend. I be back in 2012!
