This is hard question- what legocolor is best for Tie-fighters?-

many use light grey- but old lego ties were blue- actually Tie fighter was originally planned to be blue but because of blue screen technology they turn it to be bluish white in a New Hope (lego lightgrey is close)

- however in ESB and ROTJ ties are much more blue- so i think that sandblue would be good for Tiecraft- but lego don't use it- anyway which color you prefer-

i think that many use gray -but i use blue since that is how it was originally meant to be...

I would use blue because it's the color used in the movies.

I'd say sand blue or bley.

I would also say that light bley (bluish-gray) is pretty close to what you see on screen.

If you look at the Titanium SW toy line, the TIE Fighters (and their variants) are a blue-grey. Those toys are REALLY accurate to the movies.
