Some of you may be wondering why I have 5 judges this year as opposed to 3. Simple, the number of players is just TOO much for only three people to handle. The first and second rounds will be divided into two "groups" of players and the judges will only be judging half of the entires for the first two rounds. I'll assign the players to groups soon and post who's in what group and which judges will be assigned to those groups.

I will post that information here as soon as it's available.

As some of you have already read, the judging for rounds one and two will be split up between the judges. Thereís going to be over 100 mocs in round one and itís just too much for all 5 of us to comment on every single moc, so Iím going to divide the group in half and split the judges up. I will be judging all the entries. Also, for the first and second round, the judges will NOT be leaving 2 paragraph long comments on each moc detailing why they either chose you or your opponent to move on to the next round. The judges will only be putting either ďYou get my vote, good luck in the next round.Ē Or ďIím sorry, I voted for your opponent.Ē Thereís just TOO many mocs to write a long speech about why they chose what they did. Sorry if that upsets anyone, but for the sake of the games, thatís how it goes.

Now then, Iíve divided the players into two groups and assigned the judges. Hereís the list of players in each group (in NO particular order) and which judges are judging that group so you know who to try to bribe. (not that itíll workÖ but we canít fault you for trying.)

Judging group 1 will be Brian Kescenovitz, Lee Jones and myself.

The Official start date for the games has been set! I will post the match ups on Thursday, August 13th in the evening. You will have ten days (starting Friday morning) to get your mocs built and posted. That means that the end of round one will be:

11:59 PM (USA Eastern Standard Time), Sunday, August 23rd.

What is eastern time you ask. A simple way to figure it out is this. When the moc of the day changes on mocpages, that's midnight USA eastern standard time.

We now have a special guest judge for rounds 1 and 2. Dave Shaddix! He has returned from the depths of near dark age to spread his swift justice across the Olympics... hope someone brought a mop. Dave will be judging group 2. God have mercy on your souls.
