Yes, that was me who used those pins and stir sticks from Hard Rock cafe. I just though it was cool that they fit minifigs so well, even though it may be cheating in the eyes of Lego element extremists. But I've found it's quite difficult to make a guitar out of Lego elements that looks accurate. it's funny how those new, huge Lego wrenches look kind of like guitars in themselves.

You might want to take a look at this page:

There are instructions for a guitar, flying V and banjo.

Yeah I saw that; that's pretty cool.

I like useing a droids body for the body then put a clip and a lightsaber hilt on the body for the neck then you can choose what you want for the head.

So how do you like mine:

I know they are a little big but at least they are build. I have seen a lot of LEGO bands on the net with just tools instead of instruments i.e.

ha ha I looooove how you included the whammy bars! The overall shape is cool, too bad the Lego Company doesn't make "miniature" elements ;) But yeah I guess you could say with guitars that big they literally are the "Smashers"! :D

Yo! Just wanted to share some cool custom-made minifigure guitars available to the public: http://www.little-legends.com/guitars-mics-etc-/cat_7.html and http://www.firestartoys.com/Shop/Minifigure-Parts/Minifigure-Guitars.html! Sorry this group has been kind of quiet lately. Happy building, everybody.
