Selling Apparatus

I AM NOT SELLING ANY OF MY BUILT APPARATUS!! However I have had multiple inquiries of people offering to buy mine or buy the instructions. guess i am just looking for advise if anyone sells their models or LDD designs and if that is frowned upon and what price anyone would be willing to pay for a LDD. After all it is hours of work put into designing some types of models. But I would not be a fan of seeing a bunch of my own creations in other peoples departments. I do think it would be a good way to fund buildings future creations though.

I started selling some models recebtly to establish my charity, however most of the money I make goes to organizatios for cancer, how ever it is all on you, people can learn from your work, I personally have tons of LDD files wich I give out all the time. -Paulo R.

Instructions only sell for $3-$10 on websites that have instructions for vehicles, I wouldn't expect anything more than that to sell well considering the demographic being young.

There are many free LDD downloads available on Emergency Bricks, automated selling will be coming soon.

I am going to make an Emergency Vehicles company, going up over the weekend, but I am going to start with police cars. In the future, I will have fire apparatus and ambulances. So maybe nit the weekend, but with my Winter Break from school, it will be up soon.

Not seeing a huge market for custom police, especially considering Lego's fairly realistic and ever improving police line. However, good luck with the business.

Thanks for the good wishes! I know that there isn't much a demand, but I thought that I would go out on a limb and make more realistic vehicles. I also am making SWAT trucks, which LEGOŽ will never do.

It's odd LEGOŽ doesn't make SWAT teams. SWAT is important for all law enforcement agencies.

Yeah, I mean, they have the Elite Police stuff, which is almost SWAT, but they will never make SWAT or the military, save Coast Guard, because they say it's to violent.

Lego must not realize the Coast Guard, especially the USCG runs border protection and pirate takedowns..

When you get the business up, I may buy some SWAT trucks off you to get you started.

Lego has a strict policy against violence! As the creator himself said that "war isn't child's play". He believed that kids toys didn't have to be violent to be fun. They do realize what the coast guard does, but that is only part of it. Lego focuses on the better "life saving" aspect that most coast guards offer.

I was simply stating Lego must not realize the Coast Guard can perform other activities than rescues.

I knew what you meant. I'm sure lego knows what they do. Unless the Coast Guards over in Europe don't do the same duties as our Coast Guard.

Oh, I'm sure they do, they just don't want to show that. I know quite a bit about the USCG, and, only being a middle schooler, I have decided that I want to go to the United States Coast Guard Academy for college, and then be a pilot in the CG.

So, uh, Falcon didn't exactly work out, but I now have a new, specialized business which is called AquaShore Specialty Boatworks. http://aquashorespecboat.weebly.com/ We make custom fire, police, rescue, and milpro boats in 4 sizes, focusing on quality at an affordable price.
