Hi! Have you heard of the Sci-fi author Neal Asher? I've read two of his books, Gridlinked and The Skinner, and they are both awesome!

Last year I read Island of the Blue Dolphins for a class project. I LOVE the book. Here's a little summary- A girl named Karana, and her family are part of an indian tribe, and her father is the chief. The Russian Aleuts come to the island and kills Karana's father. When other people come to save them from the Aleuts, Karana's brother is left on the island, so she jumps out of the boat to go get him, but when she got back the boat was gone.So its only her and her brother on the island, and they're left with the wild dogs. And her brother gets killed by a wild dog.

Cool. I make comics with this app called Comic Life on my MacBook, sometimes I just make it by hand, but that takes A LOT longer.
