I'm a TFOL from the U.S., and I've been playing with Lego® for pretty much as long as I can remember. My first real building experience, however, was for the Lego® Lord of the Rings contest over on Lego.com four or five years ago. After the contest was over, I continued building, mostly from Lord of the Rings. In December 2013, I joined MOCpages so I could compete in the 2013-14 Middle Earth LEGO Olympics. However, my entry (which I now see isn't very good) didn't get me past the first round. But it was enough to get me hooked on MOCpages. After that, there was no going back.
Since then, I've branched out into other genres, and my skill (and piece collection) have really grown. As a contribution to the LEGO community, I've compiled a lengthy glossary of LEGO-related terms. A more regularly updated version can be found on my blog here.
Thank you to the many people who call me a favorite builder! Are you bold enough to become the next?
I am a Christian, and I hope that God will be glorified through my- interactions on MOCpages. I am home-schooled, and have been for my entire education. Several of my non-Lego hobbies are running, soccer, and reading (as well as random parenthetical statements). My favorite author is J.R.R. Tolkien, and I enjoy building MOCs inspired by his epic Lord of the Rings trilogy.
I have a blog called
