Welcome to the Home Page of
the Lego Fire Museum.
The Fire Museum is dedicated to preservation of classic American fire apparatus of the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries.
The Museum is divided into six galleries. The first four galleries each contain apparatus from a particular historical period. The galleries are arranged in chronological order. The fifth gallery contains period photos of antique apparatus. The sixth gallery contains photos of modern apparatus.
The Fire Museum is intended to be fun and educational. There are extensive Curator's notes for each piece of apparatus to put each into a historical context. Research for these notes is done in the Museum’s extensive library.
All of the apparatus in the collection is built entirely of Lego elements. The only non-Lego material used is the string that is used for hoses. Some Lego elements have been altered when necessary.
The Fire Museum won a number of awards as part of EmergencyBricks.com. BEST of 2011 including Builder of the Year, Best Presentation, Best Accident, Fire or Other Scene, Best Aerial Ladder and Best Tower Ladder.
The Fire Museum also won the County 60 Command award for the Best Tower of 2010.
Remember, admission to the Lego Fire Museum is always free and your comments, questions and suggestions always are welcomed and appreciated. You can email the Curator directly at BFD552@GMail.com.
