My Name is Kenneth Robinette, I am a fellow TFOL, currently living in the United States, my current state being Delaware.
I am currently 18 and am striving to build some fantastic creations to share with all of you. The reason I have chosen to resume my presence on the online arena of LEGO (I'm also a member over on Eurobricks) is mainly to meet new people who like me enjoy the thrills and creativity of LEGO. Also, I hope to learn some new techniques you guys keep coming up with and looking at all of your own creations in turn.
Surprisingly, I have been a member here since September of 2010. A long while, I know. Sadly, soon after joining I began my Dark Ages and remained absent from the LEGO scene until a few months ago. The spark that reignited my joy in LEGO was the creators modular buildings. Oddly enough, I have never considered myself a city fan, having been most impressed by the castle and star wars themes. Luckily enough, I took a short break from my dark ages to snatch the Lord of the Rings sets. Even though I bought them, I never opened them, how silly of me! Now, being interested again in LEGO, I have finally opened them, and I must say, they are a very special gift from TLG. I only wish they had a longer run. Anyways, that's a bit of my background with LEGO.
However, with us all, there is more to us than just our passion for LEGO. First and foremost, I am a Christian, living my life to glorify God. Also, I really enjoy to read, particularly Tolkien, Emily Bronte, C.S. Lewis, and Wordsworth. In addition, I often travel, hike, and do a bit of my own writing. I am currently at university, but I always try to find time for a bit of LEGO.
I mostly build historically accurate scenes, and historical fiction from America and Europe, but I also delight in building the Realms of Middle Earth and other worlds written up in books, Like Narnia, Hogwarts, Westeros, and Araluen. Furthermore, I make Star Wars dioramas, and have a permanent city lay out.
