No need to adjust your computer; all my creations are, in fact, dark bley.

Hey everyone,

I'm a 21 year old geological engineering student at the Colorado School of Mines, I plan on studying petroleum geology in grad school next year; after all, the plastic used for legos is a petroleum product. Most of the things i'll make will be sci-fi related but I might create some random things from time to time. I have a relatively small lego collection (very small compared to most serious builders) and I have no camera besides my cell phone so good pictures of any MOCs will be rare but i hope you enjoy what i have up right now. I guess you could call me a "purist", I don't use pieces from brick forge or anything (not that I have anything against it, it's just way too expensive to dress up my minifigs). As always i like to know what you think about my creations, even if you think it sucks. If you want to talk about anything you can email me at

My only goal right now is to eventually make a SHIP. It might not happen for a while, so i'm not too serious about it.

Im planning on doing a lot of work with Brian's Dawn Forge theme but we'll see what i end up popping out.

Thanks for coming to my page!

Ok some rants and raves:

"Fourth Wall Commentary"
Wayyy back in the day (thousands of years ago) theatrical plays took place in an arena much like any sporting event, with the audience sitting all the way around the stage. Obviously people occasional missed out on facial expressions and couldn't hear the actors cause they were facing the wrong direction, and eventually the viewing experience changed to something more modern, with the audience sitting on one side of the stage. The back and sides of the stage allowed for easy exits, backdrops, etc with the audience sitting on the other side of the "fourth wall". The term "fourth wall commentary" is used to describe a situation where an actor breaks that imaginary fourth wall and actually talks to the audience (probably most common in comedies).
Therefore, in a MOC's description, the fourth wall commentary is when you talk to the viewer about the build and the lego itself: "this took me two weeks to build", "credit goes to this guy for that part", "I tried to make this section look like this...", etc., and the rest of the description suggests that your MOC is not actually lego but instead something real, this includes a bulky backstory and detailed description of weapons. If your entire description talks about how you built it and what challenges and stuff you had, there is no fourth wall commentary because the entire description is fourth wall commentary. A good example of this is to look at my Dusk Dragon, I have a sci-fi description with a separate part at the bottom, that separate part is my fourth wall commentary, the rest of the description does not talk about legos or anything.
The reason for this rant is just to educate you, it's not that I am annoyed or anything by people misusing the term, I for one thought the origin of the term was interesting.

Due to the infamous mocpages crash of 2011 I have been left with a demoralized account, more so than anyone else I have encountered... so if you want to see some stuff you can check out my flickr account, until then my activity on mocpages will be extremely limited
