I've been building LEGOs since I could walk. I have thousands and thousands of pieces (several XLarge rubbermaid bins, and numerous smaller ones) from literally every theme LEGO has ever produced. I have over 30 assembled retail sets, including some from themes like the original space, rock raiders, insectoids, etc. lines. I have just about as many original sets that I'm going to start uploading. I'm pretty confident I'll never be able to measure up to some of the members here in terms of accuracy and skill, but I figure after over a decade and a half I have to be alright at set building.
I hope the next line lego releases under a different name is ninjas or robin hood. Also, I think the newer bionicles are absurdly overpriced and have become tired of lego selling out to every entertainment trend. Star Wars is great, but this new cartoon flimflammery? I think not. Maybe instead of relabeling old lines and buying licensing deals, lego should try making a new concept for the first time in, I dunno, ten years? (That's right. The last time new material came out was the 2000-2001 fiscal year-Life on Mars, and Knights Kingdom (which was also similar to the earlier castle series.)) I enjoy the new lego platformers, but I wish they had made an actual rts out of mars mission, not just a flash game.
I hope this doesn't violate the whole "no posting non LEGO-related stuff" thing, but I'm going to post a bit about myself. I'm into music and such and such and have spent 2/12 writing a novel based on a universe that began, in part, in LEGO(it won't be done anytime soon).
