My LEGO creations

When I had the idea of my creation software mosaics, for me it was clear that they were to appear as a wall of lego bricks. Place bricks next to each other on the plates, it is not the building but the use of lego bricks as pieces of earthenware.
The next problem was how to mount these mosaics knowing that the second goal was to get people involved in their construction.
Cut into lozenges of 100 bricks struck me as obvious.
My mosaics using 2x2 and 2x4 bricks and I now have 19 different colors available . I think I'll add the azure blue color that will be very interesting for the sky and the seabed. And I will stop at 20 colors.
The first mosaics were mounted vertically as a single wall and they needed support . It is not always possible to have good support . So I thought to release me from this problem. I therefore create supports Lego and placing the diamonds on each other with an offset of a pin that they are based on supports ( for example fresco telethon 2012) .
I also made a small soft mosaic (portrait Gainsbourg ) that does not require support but goes up to ( impossible to use diamonds) .
For my portrait of Mandela , use of 1x2 bricks to assemble diamonds at 90 ° . Unfortunately I have a lot less 1x2 bricks and I am limited to the size of the mosaic. I made the calculation of the mosaic stretching the picture horizontally 1.414 . And lozenges seen at 45 ° give a correct picture.
I'm certainly very happy with the result and I would other mosaics in this category.
Another advantage of this type of mosaic is that it is disassembled and reassembled at will !

My software does not stop evolving and I did not realize the standard version that I could give to others . By cons , here in France , I regularly prepares mosaics for events organized by other AFOL and I also gladly ready my bricks.
