Hello and welcome to my MOCpages! I also have brickshelf and I'm on classic-pirates.com (as Admiral Croissant) so you can also find me there.
I'm very interested in the ships of the 17th and 18th century so that's why I started building a ship with lego.
I also make some small MOC's for competitions and stuff like that, but most of my time goes in the build of a ship called 'Le Vesta'.
As I said I also have brickshelf, you can find it here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=Ynykly
I have always liked Lego. When I was about 10 or 12 years old I had a small dark age but just a few years later, a friend (Captain Blackmoor on classic-pirates.com) introduced me to the forum and to MOCpages, so that's when I started to build again.
I have read a lot of books about ships lately (I have about 30 books with ships at home) and I've made several models (mostly of plastic, but also a wooden one). So now I can put all my knowledge and experience in this Lego ship and so far I'm quite pleased with how it looks.
And that's about it, now please enjoy yourself with taking a look at my MOC('s) =)
