Recently i started buying creator kits for my 3 year old son, i wanted him to learn how to assemble them by himself eventually by looking at the steps in the manuals, he took to it really quickly which was great, what i had not counted on was my reaction to LEGO and building with him. I never had LEGO as a child so i was unaware how addictive and stimulating it could be, now we build together daily, i buy him a kit to assemble according to the manual and i buy kits for myself because i want to have certain parts that i can see myself using for future projects. I love to see his reaction in the morning's when he gets up and realizes Dad has created something new for him to play with. Im yet to build anything exact to something, more in blind discovery mode, only limited by the parts i currently own. If u can see i need advice or direction on something or everything (insert goofy face) please make it known, im in awe of the pieces ive seen on MOCpages already and want to advance my skills and knowledge.
