Future City - Parkside
About this creation
One portion of my Future City MOC. This section's gallery is here.

A small park and surrounding residences.
The park.
Flower-shaped canopies cover the picnic tables. (Thanks again, Clikits!)
Overlooking the park, a quarter-dome residence.
I was trying to get a wave-like appearance from the windows.
Inspired by this TV tower in Shanghai, the Sky Tower. The idea is a building where the owner was so rich, he could build a skyscraper that only had his residence and office, and no other tenants. It's meant to look like a stack of UFO's. I wanted it to be partially grey,
thought blue was a good color to combine with it, and added a central row of windows,
but thought it would be too dark inside, so I added skylights. Continuing with the Classic Space color scheme, I figured the windows should be trans-yellow. The owner's limo is on top. (Yes, I know it's not long and skinny like today's limo...but in the air, you aren't limited by road width.)
The other half of Religion Row. An alien church, or something that pops up in the next 1400 years?
This one's flat-out a cult, like Heaven's Gate or something. Color-scheme similarities to Blacktron II are not coincidental. (Why would you walk around with a giant black "B" on your chest? Because your divinely-inspired leader, Bill, told you to.)
"Ushering in" a new recruit.
