A sad, sad, tale. *pronouced
About this creation

The Tale of Cellues

Listen, listen here
To the sad story of the knight Celluere.
Long, long ago,
Sirrush was no place to go.
Hoping, hoping to be saved,
Her people were enslaved.
Dire, dire was our danger,
Then Celluere came to us as a stranger.
Dismal, dismal were our cages.
He promised us that there are better ages.
But, but it was ne'er to be.
For we still were not free.
Time, time again we tried,
Yet each time more had died.
Lost, lost was our bravery,
As we sunk deeper into slavery.
Futile, futile were his warnings
As they brought upon him harder lashings.
Finally, finally our captors had enough
And upon him were put shackled cuffs.
Led, led him to the spike,
Rising up like a ghastly pike.
Through, through him it traveled.
Our captors believed his spell unravelled.
Now, now as through him the spike was run,
Our hearts and souls he had truly won.
Brought, brought forth as he suffered his demise,
Our voices in unison began to rise.
Feared, feared by our captors the fire
That was given life from our ire.
In his name the ultimate conflict we wage,
A war so great, it shakes the age.
For, for many a year it went.
Our captors were finally spent.
Suffered, suffered they did as Celluere.
From a wrath that overpowered our fear.
Erected, erected we did a monument
That revered the knight's accomplishment.
Free, free we now live.
To him we have much to give.
He came during our greatest sorrow,
And led us to a brighter 'morrow.

From the Chronicles of Sirrush, a compiling of the legends from Sirrushian past.

Quite a story. It sure has a good sound as a kind of "uprising ballad."

Quoting Xiazeran . That's an insane poem! Look's like you'll be the next shakespeare! As for my poem, I wrote it on a whim for the page, but seeing how it worked out, I'll probably do that for my other toa as well.
My ultimate creation (a WIP) will also have a poem. I like Shakespeare but do not want his glory, he can keep it.
