Take that, purists! Being tired of those hinge-and-flame needlers, I decided to make one more scale-ish.(No offense to you people who use the flame-hinge needlers)And first of all, the toothpick idea is Zanthir Eas's, not mine. So credit goes to him for it. Also, please check his needler out it's what inspired me to make one. Also, sorry for the lame pictures.
About this creation
A side view of the needler. It's pretty easy to put together. All you need is 2 blue 1x1 hook pieces, one claw, glue, 3 toothpicks, and a pink marker.
Here's an action shot with a spartan wielding it. When a minifig holds the little rod part, it's actually pretty sturdy. Atleast enough for me to have to apply some force to take it off of it.
And if you get it just right, you can place the needler on the back of a brickforge space marine pauldron.
I hope you enjoyed it! You can also use this creation, but don't forget to give me some credit! And Feel free to leave a comment :D
EDIT: Now I know why the pictures are pixely. It's because I accidently compressed it too much.
wow I really like it, also I would like to make some custom star wars decals for you to show my appreciation for sending me the minifig template, so please tell me what kind of trooper you want and the colors/designs, please :)
Best needler ever. I've seen pretty cool needlers, but they're all made completely out of clay (cheaters!). I might use this design for my spartan army... ish thing. Oh, and thanks for the comment on my purist energy sword.
Wow; that's truly beautiful. the shape is perfect, as is the scale of the weapon. I'll have to copy this. :D I wonder if I can find any pink/red toothpicks lyin' around... I'm certainly no purist when it comes to minifigs/weapons.

awesome! it's perfectly proportioned, too. except the needler goes on his thigh...
I could try to put it there, but it would have to be even smaller, atleast a bit bigger than a minfig's hand to fit on a Spartan's thigh. Oh well.. hopefully someone will make a needler like that some day
Very nice! A very good innovation of my work, but very simple! Although, I used clay to capture the image of the bottom part of the handle. Oh well, to each their own right? And thanks for giving me credit. I hope to see more Halo Creations from you. I see a Halo Creator in the making... I have 2 last things to say: 1. It's good to see another LEGO Modder on this sight. Those purists... 2. I have put you on my homepage. Visit it sometime! Keep building Halo stuff!
