Seen hovering over the North pole of Zandiss 6.
This Mysterion ship managed to move 45 space mines from the Ligart Blockade and deposit them around an uninhabited moon of Veagon, before disappearing.
This craft actually materialised in suburban Sydney, Australia, understandably causing some panic among the citizens there. It appeared harmless, moving about the streets, stopping to take data readings of some description from its two "stalks" every so often. Eyewitness reports state that it seemed quite clumsy and tripped over several times. Experts studying the footage agree that the Mysterions are not used to a moving around a terrestrial environment.
Nicknamed "The Reaper" by Terran patrolship crews, this aggressive vessel has been attacking any ships that pass within 5.2 parsecs of VEL 6784, an obscure brown dwarf. Three Terran ships have been lost already and freighters have been advised to avoid Quadrant 'L' altogether. Quite why this Mysterion is so viciously protecting an apparently useless and unplaneted BD system is a complete mystery.
This bizarre five-legged device was discovered walking around Mars, "kneeling" every so often and performing obscure funtions with it's antenna before moving on and repeating the procedure. Theories abound as to what it is, everything from some kind of radio-telescope to a giant musical instrument.
Those cunning Blacktronians tried to copy Object 23 as a possible space fighter however after carefully replicating the Mysterion design they cannot get it to work. It sits rusting in their research and development hanger.
Yuri Fassio sent me here, after been fascinated with his last Mysterion MOC. I must say that I'm even more suprised with the awesome ideas I have seen here, strange to use on any MOC but fascinating on all the senses. 80, 88 and 17 are my favourites from this page, but all of them are magnificent!
Those are awesome Shan! I especially love the harp one (?). Very well done. I am really liking these things. I've got one in the works that is a cross between a Mysterion and a VV! Keep up the great work, Shan!
Now I'm going to have to make three more!
And we at the Hangar Bay agree that it's definately an ET violin. Our sensors picked up "The Devil went Down to Georgia" as it passed our installation up here. Just thought we should let you know!
More and more close to artistic perfection ! I dunno which one is the best, they are all so cool. The "crossover" Blacktron-Mysterion is priceless. BTW very nice photoshop on the main pic. Now, There must be a third wave !!!
Object 80 looks like something I saw in the "grown up" shop the other day. I mean, I never go in those places, but I "heard" about one once... Yeah, I don't believe it either. If this is what you come up with after a long day at work, I really need to start blowing glass. That's GLass... with a GL before it. Get your mind out of there. ~ Chris.
