Imperial starfleets are formidable ground assault forces, but they wouldn't exactly be starfleets without warships, would they?
About this creation
The A-3 was the primary light warship of the Zenexabas Starfleets, being fairly robust and well armed for a frigate.
It mounted a pair of massive gauss cannon in fixed mounts in addition to it's fifteen point-defence turrets, making it something of a glass sledgehammer; it could shatter an opponent in the first moments of battle, but it could not withstand constant strike-craft attack, its point-defences being intended to block capital ship weapons fire and missiles, rather than intercept fighter spacecraft.
It was very popular with its crews, however, as it was incredibly survivable, the crew being deeply encased in a hulking mass of armour and redundant life-support systems.
In this picture, you can see a large window; this is not, as is usually assumed, the command center, which is interred deep inside.
Rather, it is a large greenhouse that supplies the Callisto's crew with fresh foods.
There are two of them, one to a side; when one is pointed towards the nearest star, the other is covered with armoured doors to protect it and prevent heat loss.
Its engines were not as large as they initially appeared; most of that mass you see is armour and emergency backup systems.
The crew quarters were to the 'rear' of the ship, rather than in the side-mounted tubes as is often supposed: those tubes are merely the housings for the large thrusters that allow the Callisto it's famed rapid bow-swing, which can result in a following foe suddenly finding himself staring down the barrels of a pair of huge gauss weapons.
Actually no, the barrels are covered and lightly pressurised with inert gas to cover the shells with plasma during firing, so you cannot really see down them.
Here's the bowels of the ship, as if you cared.
That there's the liver, and those are kidneys, that's an appendix....
A number of A-3s were included with the 43rd Expeditionary Force of the Imperial Guard.

Not quite detailed enough to be of the term "frigate", [My definition of an assault frigate is any vessel capable of crippling a cruiser but too small to survive the counterattack.] but I guess you're building in ultra microscale or something. [Correct. I'm not very experienced with microscale, nor do I have the necessary parts in the correct colours, so I use a scale all my own; otherwise this would be a rainbow warrior.] It actually looks like a Death Star turret- not attached to anything. Ah, a star wars reference. You're going to kill me for that, aren't you? [Not really. I'm not feeling very hungry today.]
