A mini republic invasion of somewhere
my first diorama, utilizing my mini collection.
About this creation
Backstory: Well it is basically endor, but on a different planet, a different time, and different armies.

two different side angles, not much to say.

Possibly my favorite pic, as it shows a nice angle of the "mini" carnage.

The overview of the intense action on the ground

Clones dropped of by "Big Beautiful Doll" beginning their move towards the bunker, with their bright-yellow-look-at-me commander in the lead.

The droids as they vainly attempt to hold off the invasion.

The all important bunker (minus its long range communication relay). Controls something
for something, and must be captured to allow for the larger republic invasion to take place or something like that.

Same bunker different view.

The arc gunship zooms by overhead for.... something I don't know use your imagination, I thought it looked cool.

"Big Beautiful Doll" laying down some fire, after dropping off its load of clone troopers.

Dropping payload, is a laat/c bringing some heavy armor to the battlefield.

That's a confirmed kill! A v-19 fires as the droid fighter/vulture droid (I still find that kinda confusing) bursts into flame.

I'm hit! a v-19 is hit by fire from a pursuing tri-fighter.

A Y-wing streaks away after successfully bombing the bunkers long range communication relay.

My newest additions into my mini collection, spider droids, well 1 1/2 of them.

Some diords (droids spelled backwards) exercising their fight or flight character qualities. They went rather intelligently chose flight.

Another form of fight or flight, only this time flight means hide and cower beneath the only cover in the entire display. ;-)

I've been meaning to make a dio for some time, but never got around to it. The challenge for me, this being my first scene, was the scenery, but I guess that will come with time. All the minis are viewable in my SW minis folder, if you care to bet a better look, excluding the spider droids. Hope I didn't bore you to death with all these many words. I enjoyed building it, and can only hope you enjoyed viewing, and are inspired to build more minis yourself.

With that I bid thee good day.

This is really cool! The arc gunship is just awesome. Also, your Big Beautiful Doll gunship makes an awesome mini. The ball turrets are my favorites. I also like how you used a trans. green antenna for a beam from of of the gunship's side turrets. This is the coolest mini/vignette I have ever seen. Keep up the good work! LesPaulPlayer

This is totally awsome. Don't mine other people's ideas of the bunker, I think its great! Please post instuctions for those vehicles, especially the gunship, thats awsome. But one thing, what are the minifigure-size droids doing there? Kinda confusing.Other than that 10/10.

This is pretty sweet! Nice amount of detail. I like the idea of a mini vig. Might have to build one. Hey, thanks for all the comments:)

The ground could really use some work. Choosing a localle might make that easier. I myself am working on a mini diorama, and knowing the location makes the scene much easier to build and understand. (I chose Kashyyyk, because I've already built the scenery for my Kashyyyk vignette) Y-Wings also usually attack ground targets in squadrons of 3. By the way, droid fighters and vulture droids are the same thing. More specifically, the brown ones in Ep. 1 are Mark 1 Vulture droids, and the blue ones in the Clone Wars and Ep. 3 are Mark 2 Vulture droids.

I kinda like the way that you use minifig hands as "micro people". I would like to see that idea in some of your mini halo stuff.Don't bother looking at my profile yet...i don't really have anything on it whatsoever, but I made a series of 8 mini mechs(all of a different theme) and ill put them up eventually. Best of luck!

Quoting George Kemper The minis are great but the scene (other than the bunker) is horible. Now don't get tmad at me about this but you are such a better builder than this.
I appreciate your bluntness, and showing me where I can become better.
