This is the battle for Helms Deep from Lord of the Rings, the Two Towers! Consists of over 200 minifigures and tens of thousands of pieces and took 4 years to complete. Includes tower rooms, the throne room, a stable, and the caves.
This is beautiful, definitely the best I've seen. However, structurally I have a goal to outdo this. I can't replicate the battle cause I don't have the men, but my next project is the citadel of Minas Tirith...you can see a start to it on my page... trying to make it the biggest and best one made... lots of pieces left to buy though. Still, very awesome!

wow...4 years, eh?? i couldn't stand that mcuh time...this is REALLY good!!i dont't think that anyone could come this close to Helms Deep!! its PERFECT!!!!!BUILD BARADUR NEXT AND THE BLACK GATE!!!!!
Black Gate is next...construction begins this winter haha
The scale is fantastic!!! My biggest problem with most castle creations is that they don't quite seem large enough for the minifigs that occupy them (horrendously time consuming and expensive, so it's no wonder). But that's not the case here, and your Helms Deep is an amazing feat of building tenacity! Nice execution, some cool details, and again, wonderful scale. Well done!
Wow! This is the nicest Helm's Deep I've seen here on MocPages. This battle is my favorite from all the LOTR Movies. I really like the Uri kai with the battering ram. Gimli is cool too. You have a lot of minifigs. Great job!
