The Civil War: Legend of the 609th 3: Episode 8: End of an Era
This is the 8th episode in my current series. The original of this episode was a lot longer and better and looked more deeply into Blast's thoughts but of course that was all destroyed in my computer deleting fiasco so it's now much shorter. Sorry about all the writing but it is a very good story. Please comment and Enjoy!
About this creation

And do the battle of Endor continued but meanwhile up on board the Death Star...
Elite Commander Blast stood next to the Emperor in the throne room, watching as Darth Vader faught his own son in a lightsaber duel to the Death.
It just wasn't right. Blast though to himself. A father shouldn't have to fight his own son. The only reason it was happening was the War.
"Ah ha ha haa!" the Emperor croaked as Vader took a swipe that allmost killed his Luke; his son.
No, something had to be done. Blast thought. It couldn't go on.
The Commander drew his blasters and aimed at Palpatine, but the Sith senced his danger and leaped out of his throne just as the triggers were pulled; but with a flick of his wrist, he sent a force blast flying into the Commander and threw him backards and down through one of the rooms many glass floor pannels.
Blast lay dazed in the room below, thinking about what had happened, what he could do now. Could he carry on serving the Empire? He kept thinking untill all of a sudden the Death Star shook vilently. He ran down to one of the hangers, realising that it was about to blow up and was about to get in one of the ships, when he saw an amazing fight.
Luke Skywalker was taking off Darth Vader's helmet and the Lord was letting him. Father and Son at last. That made Blast think even more. What was his real role in the War? What side was he ment to be fighting for? Was he on the right one? He took off his helmet and gazed deeply into the eyes, searching for answers. Then he chose.
He walked over to one of the electric disposal pits were all the space rubbish was blown up in a huge swirling mass of electricity way down below, and took his mask from under his arm; and dropped it. Dropped it down into the pit, where a it was caught by the swiriling mass and exploded into millions of tiny pieces. Elite Commander Blast was no more.
