(Warning, Really Old and Terrible)Large, Multicolored Castle
Freela was whining about how he had no pictures of his castles, so I'll add some for him. Yes, we got together with our Lego men and had battles like little kids. Beware of people with the maturity of 12 year olds! ;)
About this creation

Just pictures of the castle.

Overhead view:

Side view:

The only entryway into the castle:

Stuck in a storage room:

Yes, that's a restroom, complete with stalls and johns . . . lots of fun :P

Storming a room:

I think that's a bomb in the middle of the floor:

Happy now? :P

I guess so, some of the pics are blurry, but that's my fault. These pictures came from my Brickshelf account, which I no longer use.

To explain the battle, I had 150 men armed with castle weapons whilst Brickfan had 60-odd 'figs armed with BrickArms guns. A nasty fight to the death ensued. In the end I won by 16 troops, all thanks to my explosives-firing ballista! 'Twas too close for comfort, though.

Contrary to what Brickfan may have told you, we do not play war like little kids, these battles are packed with strategic movement and use of weapons at hand. It's more like 3D chess than anything else, including how long we each take to make a move. I have won three battles, lost one, and one was never finished.

I remember the days of building like this... about half a lifetime ago.

Only one rule: Realism. Things have to be played out like they would in real life. When you command your soldiers you have to make them react as if they had minds of their own. For example, if your opponent has a soldier hidden around a corner in ambush, even if you can see him, if your men can't, you have to make them act like they can't. As I said, that's the only rule and you can decide on the rest for yourself depending on how you like to play.

The strategic game is an interesting idea... Do you have written rules for that?
