Coloseum of Rome - Part 1
Coloseum of Rome Sculpture created by Singapore AFOLs in Sep 2005.
About this creation

On the weekend of 10/11 Sep 2005, members from a Singapore Lego Fan Group, S0937FG, came together to recreate 2 quarants of the Roman Colosseum out of LEGO bricks. The installation was done on-site in the Asian Civilisation Museum(ACM),Singapore. The structure is approximately 1.8m long and 1.5m high and took 2 days to complete.

The bricks were on loan from LEGO, hence we don't have much choice over the colors of the bricks. We didn't really count the number of bricks involved.

We wanted to complete more of the scuplture but due to the time limit (2 days) and the fact that many of us are new in scuplture buildling (as there are no instructions), we did took longer than required to understand how to go about doing it.

Project : Coloseum of Rome
Designer/Master Builder : Eugene Tan
AFOLs involved in the project:
eugenetan (+ wifey)
joeroy (+ wifey)

Time spent
2 weeks by eugene alone and 2 more days @ ACM by the whole group.
