I have updated my vessel Le Formidable. I've done the rigging for the biggest part, tiled both broadsides and I'm currently making the deck in tan colour. The stern has been updated a lot. See for yourself! ;-)
About this creation
Here you see the right broadside, I've tiled it and made a couple extra 9 pounders.
An overview of the ship. This is my favorite picture.
The stern, I've done my very best to add so much detail as possible. I think the stern turned out really good.
The bow with it's figurehead and headrails. Pretty difficult to add the line of the ship in it but I managed to do it. Not perfect yet but hey, it's still a Work In Progress! =)
The left broadside, there is a cannon after each gunport but I closed some for a better look. I really like the small 9 pounders on top.
Here you can see a part of the deck in birds eye.
A close up from a soldier walking the deck.
The ship in it's full length, I'm planning to expand it with 2 more midsections.

WOW that is brilliant how long did that take you to make?
Believe it or not, the ship is nowadays still not completely finished. I keep changing things. It started as a ship with 2 midsections, I've expanded it, and expanded it, and expanded it. There are already new pictures, I have to post them soon.
Thanks! Everything has been updated already, the stern has new colours and new shapes, it has a better rigging now and more, much more details. The interior is updated as well.
I should post the final pictures soon.
Some extra information:
The ship started as a little ship with 2 midsections 3 years ago. I suddenly got an idea how to create a large ship and I made work of it, it grew to 4 midsections and now it are 5 of them. Every day I'm working on it, add some small details or rebuild a part. I think there are many hours spend on this ship already. I'm glad you like the result of it!
Thank you for your positive comments! The stern was the hardest part of the ship, it's difficult to get a historic accurate shape in it. The bow wasn't that difficult but the tumblehome was also hard to do. I'm glad with the results!
