Flying Wing Help
It's here! This rendition of the Flying Wing from Raiders of the Lost Ark is a little updated form my other file. but, this scene has been one of my favorites from the series, so here you go!
About this creation
Now, something that is very important with this model is sotry accuracy. You can create your own remix of it, but getting the actual plane done is the challenge. now, with that in mind, the wing has to tape off to a thin elevation on the ends, while on the part connecting to the plane is built of just bricks.

The fin on the back has to be able to be rotated for the plane to keep it's sloped wings, and not have two inward pointing fins. I also kept the important white underside on this.

This model was constructed in three parts, the two wings and the middle. The wings are connected using hinges supported by ridged plates.

The wheels, like the fins, are also supposed to be laid straight in the design. So hinges were again used for this.

Here's a nice note for you: the gun cockpit can't fit a minifigure. Even so, in the movie Marion slips through the cargo hold to it, so you don't need it. it is made in a abstract kind of circle, with transparent studs.

The cockpit in the movie is a kind of dip down into the front, instead of just the top. so I took a transparent dish and laid it on the front of a 4 way angular brick. The top piece was on top.

I hope this helps, and be sure to check out the other file on it. As a final note, I used the titanium series model for an example. Rate and comment!
