About this creation
The clan leader Oruk Bloodtooth has a new toy and it is called BoomBoom. After witnessing Royal Strike Forces technological advantage, the Orks decided to build sturdy cannon to even the odds. Cannon itself wasn't enough for the Orks and they added legs under the cannon. Legs were crafted from the stolen goods taken from some contruction yard. After the first contact with the BoomBoom, frigtened screens and doubting questions were heard from the ranks of Strike Forces. Many soldiers wondered what was the meaning of the spikes that decorated the engine unit. One captured Ork answered only by rambling something about "dem munsterz". Strike Forces Research-Wizards are not yet clear what the the Ork meant.

COO: BoomBoom was started when me and my LEGO builder friend Lord-Sausage decided to build a diorama to the Model Expo 2009 event. We planned to build a Warhammer 40k inspired street scene with Orks and Humans going at it. Both of us decided to build vehicles to both sides of the conflict, Royal Strike Forces and Orks. Sausage started with his contribution to the Orks, large Battlewagon, and I planned to build "crazy mine mech". That "mine mech" was constructed around half way when I ran into trouble with the torso. I leaved that project alone and focused on building few mechas that were based (okey, one of them was 90% direct copy) Soren Roberts' Gundam instructions. When I noticed how cleverly designed the Zaku's arms were, I quickly build a small base with four legs. The idea was that I would do something with it after Model Expo event. While looking some inspiration to the "mine mech's" torso, I had sudden idea of building "ball like" engine cover out of two Here is a shot of the BoomBoom in action near the Armageddon Corner.

In a true Ork tradition, pilot faces the enemy with out protection. What can we say, they are so plentiful that even strategies as absurd as that work.
