My daughter is only 3 and always wants to join in with my son's Lego star wars games. Of course he isnt keen as she nearly always manages to destroy his models.
So it was time she had her own set. However she asked for something pink.
This was an opportunity to play with the a-wing official model and make some mods that would make the set a little more interesting (To me at least)
I was constrained with the windscreen and the amount of pink i have, but she seems to like it. Fortunately my kids had inserted some pink slopes into one of my pick a brick trips recently, but I may revise with as many pink pieces as i can at a later date.
I'm going to try another one, next time in Green (or Blue)and black and bley/dark grey. I'll be including a sping loaded missile, landing gear and hopefully pivoted tail vanes If I can work out how...
