Luna 9
Luna 9: the first spacecraft to successfully soft-land on the moon.
About this creation
This one wasn't much: basically what I call a 30 minute creation. I didn't put much effort into the final version. At first I spent awhile trying to make those difficult shell curves, and soon gave up as I have no skills whatsoever at making curves.
Anyway, this is Luna 9. It was a Soviet spacecraft in the Luna series, made up of unmanned probes, orbiters, landers, rovers and sample returns that all went to the moon. Luna 9 was the first spacecraft to land on the moon. Well, Luna 2 carried no insturments and smashed into the moon at 1000s of miles per hour, but that technically impacted the moon, not landed. Luna 9 carried almost no intruments, only a camera and one other thing I forget, but it still warrents a build in my mind. So there you go!

P.S.: I am slightly tired of people giving me reviews with not the greatest ratings simply because they don't know what it is. If you wish to give me a review on this, please at least spend a little while looking at pictures of it, so that you can hopefully give me a more meaningful review. Thank you.
