Here she is, the legendary Ford GT, one of my favorite cars, and one of my hardest builds by far, it might be as hard as my Shelby Super Snake, I hope it would be as quality as the GT500 SS as well, it's your call any way, so hope you like it, thanks for visiting my page.
About this creation
Ford Motor Company:The Ford Motor Company is an American multinational corporation and the world's fourth largest automaker based on worldwide vehicle sales, following Toyota, General Motors, and Volkswagen. Based in Dearborn, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, the automaker was founded by Henry Ford and incorporated on June 16, 1903. In addition to the Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury brands, Ford also owns Volvo Cars of Sweden, and a small stake in Mazda of Japan and Aston Martin of England. Ford's former UK subsidiaries Jaguar and Land Rover were sold to Tata Motors of India in March 2008.
Ford GT:The Ford GT is a mid-engined supercar. It was built by Ford Motor Company from 2003 to 2006. It began as a concept car designed in anticipation of Ford's centennial year and as part of its drive to showcase and revive its "heritage" names such as Mustang and Thunderbird. Camilo Pardo, the head of Ford's "Living Legends" studio, is credited as the chief designer of the GT and worked under the guidance of J Mays. The designers drew inspiration from Ford's classic GT40 race cars of the 1960s and the GT is sometimes mistaken for its 1960s counterpart.
Positive response on the auto show circuit in 2002 helped persuade the company to produce the car in limited quantities, and the first production versions appeared in 2005. It is a very high-performance, two-seater vehicle with a strong styling resemblance to its racing ancestor and performance to match. The powerplant is a mid-mounted supercharged 5.4 litre V8, producing 550 horsepower (410 kW) and 500 foot-pounds force (680 N•m). Top speed is 212 mph (341 km/h)(electronically limited).
Let's start with a couple of a front-view shots:

And finally some top-view shots:
The functional elements:
And here're some shots of the functional elements at my model, the doors were my hardest part ever in a car model.
Hope you to enjoy with some shots for the unique open style of the Legendary Ford GT!
Everything's open as in the real one, tried my best to be as real as the original one.
Some details shots.
Well, building the doors open with a part from the roof wasn't easy at all, it took me a really long time and thought to be done, so here's a pic of the techniques used:
I tried to make the interior as realistic as possible as well, so here're some shots;
Notice the holes in the seats.
A couple shots for the interior
Simple interior features; just like the real thing.
And the trunk

Would you like to see the race version of this legend!?
Ok then you have wait about 5 minutes to see it!
Work in progress:

The Race Car information:
Goodbye image: Hope you liked it, this is my final MOC for a while(I think), coz I'm working on a BIG project and I need time, pieces and money to complete it, I might post some small MOCs from time to time, I'm not sure though, so see you later guys :)

Hey Firas, Happy 6th MOCiversary!, well almost! Can you believe it has almost been 6 years, and I think I am the latest like! Over a thousand likes and still climbing! LOL Super duper and all that!
Oh wow!! I'm glad you pointed this out, I almost forgot!! This model is a very special creation for me, as it took me to a whole new level of fame in LEGO world, throughout the LEGO community itself, and internationally, as it has been featured on the front page of the very famous car enthusiasts website the great Top-gear.com, and on much many cars blogs including Jalopnick. Thank you, I'm glad you are the liker # 1078 ;-)
i have a couple of letters and than some words for you u r amazing! can you give me some tips on shaping the exterior of a super car? i got interior down well, i tried to make this many times and all of them horrible, while my muscle cars are still pretty good, do you think you designs you used for this would work well in a smaller scale like a 10 wide? (of coarse using smaller, similar pieces)go here for my fort gt failing start http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/337679 and please give me some tips! anyway great job it is all completely perfect! 100000 out of 5
love it i beg of you to give me some tips on building super cars, my only success was the Bugatti Veyron and i tried this a few times and found the front IMPOSSIBLE, i need the tips, and also do you think that most the techneichs you used on this would work well on a 10 wide? (using smaller, similar parts of coarse here is a wip on an attempt of the ford gt http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/337679 please give me tips, and also if you want here is my Veyron http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/337633 well any way keep up the amazing work ;)
This build rocks! I have a 2006 Ford GT in my garage and would LOVE to get the directions so I could built this MOC. Please send me the directions to ffcobra"@"aol.com
I'll take a picture of it with the 1:1 scale and post a picture.
Ever since they came out with the Ford GT in 2002, I fell in love with it. It has such a sleek design. I have also been building with Legos for as long as I can remember. I have never really worked that much on models, but seeing what you have built has really motivated me to start building all sorts of models.
I must say, this is one beautiful model. Would it be too much to ask for the instructions to this model?
I fell in love with the Ford GT when it first came out in 2002. I think it has a very sleek design.
I also have been building LEGOs for as long as I can remember, but never got into the modeling. Your cars have motivated me to want to start.
Would it be too much to ask for the instructions for your Fort GT? I hate to copy someone else's work, but this is as close to the perfect model I have ever seen done from LEGOs.
Hey Firas! Its Joel the rookie again! Wow! Once again you amaze me with the accuracy of the lines on this car, and, I saw the fish on your home page... I am a born again Christian, and I'm wondering... are we in the same boat? It would be nice to know if you share my faith!
Beautiful! I love everything about it! All those functions...you must be a seriously talented builder. Sadly, I'm not even remotely close to your level, nor do I have the money to get all those pieces - you're a real lucky guy! Keep it up! <Komioh Ransack>
Good lord man. My interest in cars is limited, but if anything would qualify as divine intervention to convert me, it would be your collection (not just this superb example). This collection is also something that I can share with adults who are not LEGO enthusiasts. There are some things one cannot resist.

The aesthetics of this car are outstanding. The presented photos are 1st class. I was so inspired by this model i just had to build it!!! wow what a car, the build was more complicated than i expected but provides in my opinion the best looking 1:17 scale car to date. Well done Firas!!!
Did you get the permission from me first before making money out of someone's else designs, yes, I saw yours on Ebay today, you could be more creative and build your own version, but I guess you're not.
Are people insane! This is a true Lego gem. Even Lego company doesnt put out cars this GOOD!! twenty bucks is an insult. Please people, dont insult the creator! This is wonderful work worth every penny! I would pay GOOD cash for this model or instructions on how to build this!
Please let me know! email is firstname.lastname@example.org

3.i will give you 20 bucks for it
I just want to say this Lego Model is a stunner! I am not worthy!! This is excellent work. People dont understand how difficult it is to create something so realistic out of Lego.
Would it be possible for you to release the instructions on how to make this model. I WOULD PAY GOOD MONEY FOR THE INSTRUCTIONS!! Honest!
Love the work, keep it up.
BIG WOW FIRAS! check out the wonderfully shaped front!!! (and the whole rest of the car) absolutely exact! you are amazing man and you will never stop amaze me! incredible model! i have never seen better model of gt40! (i have seen nearly as good as yours but it was much bigger and i have to say all the soloutions and brick usage on this one is truly ingenious! you see i watch topgear and Jeremy's favourite car is gt40, so is mine (besides audi R8 :-P) and you have made both the cars and you made them absolutely greatly!!! (i don't want to pass over the other cars you have built, it had to take ages to make them all, but i enjoy these two the more they are my dreamcars :-) and all the lambos and the mustang and phantom - and all the other cars - are also beautiful) you have a gift! keeep the new crushers comming! you rock!
your fan and friend ;-)
That is amazing for lego ! This is so realistic, an absolute imitation of the real thing ! Just goes to shows what lego can do and from you that's simply an art. Fantastic Car from an amazing builder. And thanks a lot for all your nice comments, your opinion is highly considered and appreciated.
Firas strikes again. Dude im telling you your creations keep getting better and better. Except i dont think anything can top your ford mustang. But this is definitely in second place. Nice work man! Cant wait to see the big project youre working on. The reason i havent posted any yet is cuz ive been working on something myself. Im almost finished with it so i might upload it soon. Youll need to check it out. Its a street race car. Definitely wont compare to any of your creations but i dont think youll be dissapointed. Anyway i hope to talk to you soon and God bless.
thanks for the comment on my 007 Lotus :)
I'm quite limited to 'classic techniques' as I only have used, old lego; none of the newer parts; and I also find I'm limited in types of parts, due to what I have, meaning most of the time, it's bricks, plates and slopes... but that seems to work fine so far :)
Nothing wrong with newer stuff though - your creations are always amazing, and this gt40 especially is spot on !
Can't wait to see your "big project" :) Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on the last few parts I need for my Bugatti ad TVR and finally post them online...
Happy building !
This is what inspired me to make my GT! (won't ever be as good as this though) It's perfect in every brick! This is my favorite moc of all time! Don't stop building man, I'll die if I don't see another moc from you!
I love how this car is so smooth and it just looks so real. My favorite view is the front, And I like the race car version and the normal version. great job firas. ps can you check out my rat rod that I posted for BRICKSonWHEELS 5th challenge

I'm jealous of you can make this unbelievable Model, Instructions plz.....
Did I tell you already that this is art? I forgot, and I´m too lazy to look through those tons of excellent critiques you got for this extraordinary model. I don´t often say stuff like that, but you´re my God when it comes to creating Lego cars in this scale. Awesome work. This, as well as your Cobra, is the very best I´ve seen from you. Top notch! :) Best regards, Steffen
When i first looked at the picture i thought you'd put a picture of a real Ford GT on you site. But when i looked at your site it apears to be made from lego. this is absolutely the best lego creation i've seen.
This is incredable amazing job man. There is a guy in my town that owns one,he and a guy in a viper were leaving a car show the viper pulled out and hit the gas and the GT smoked him and i never saw either car again but it was great.
Firas!! This (and some of your other creations) have been featured on the website of the BEST car magazine (and TV program) in the whole world!! www.topgear.com/uk That is the most awesome achievement of any MOCer ever!!
absolutly outstanding!!! i love ford GT's and when i saw the picture of it on here i couln't belive that you made it out of lego because its that good, Your mustang is incredable too. Fantastic job on both your fords. :)
This car is awesome!! i love the stickers on it. BTW, i updated my Dodge viper if you wouldn't mind looking at it and giving me some suggestions that would be great. thanks, you can visit the page here http://mocpages.com/moc.php/118745
Man, you are my idol for LEGO! I'll be looking fowards to your new creation. (no doubt it'll be totally epic) And like Michael D, how old are you? One thing about MOCpages is that you never really get to know how old people are (unless they mention it somewhere)
this is fantastic. the ford gt is my favourite car and i know every angle on that is perfect. this is definitely the best gt on mocpages by a mile. When I came across it I thought you had put a picture of a real ford gt as your main pic. i was absolutely astonished to find it was made of bricks. excelent work!
I am altogether suprised and astounded that I haven't already commented on this. Either way, it's terrific. The shapes and curves and details are all top notch. You're probably the best car builder here on MOCpages and this creation once again demonstrates that fact. Fantastic work here. Now I'd also like to say something concerning the builder and not just the creation. I really appreciate your attitude here on MOCpages, I don't think I've seen a single negative review by you and I think that's really great. You're probably one of the kindest and polite builders here on MOCpages as well as the best and like I said, I really appreciate that. Keep on building ~ Nowhereman
Great work! It turned out awesome. Sorry I couldn't comment earlier, but my phone has been disconnected so I can't access the internet at my house (had to go to the local library). Hope everything is going well. Good luck with the "BIG Project". Peace - Packie
How do you do it?! This is simply SPECTACULAR!! Let's face it, making a GT in any scale is almost impossibly hard, but you're making it look so easy. The details are amazing, with the highly detailed engine and interior, and I espescially like the way you made the doors. You sir, are the master of large-scale cars!
Another great creation Firas. In a comment on another page I heard you say that you had a Ford project ahead of you-I knew that it would be the GT because you are a builder who is up to the challenge to make the supercars of the world.
Now to the car-simply amazing! As usual I love all the functional elements and the details you put into it. My favorite part is the front. It looks so realistic- I like how you did the front recessed hood scoops. The engine of this car is phenomenal- so detailed as usual. I really like how you can switch it to a race version simply by just switching out some pieces. You are an amazing Lego builder- I am always so excited when you add a new creation.
Nice work! Keep building! -Tony
mm,... ill say, .. yeeeesss!!! i will say this: Yeeeesss!!! thats only this, YEEEESSS!!!
one of the cars i like, but from one of the best carsilikecreators of mocpages (and there arent very much)i like, you must to do,... or photoshop one to do it like the gt40 gulfs, and an IMPORTANT challenge i propose you, DO A FIAT/SEAT 600 ABARTH, the old of course, ... LEO
PD: this is the 2º car you´ve made that i like more ....take a look to my pages...
Finally my favorite car, perfected.
Wow, you completely nailed it! The Ford Gt has such hard curves to make in lego but you did it perfectly.
If that was a £100 lego kit, I would buy it.
hey fofo! sorry its been a while, been so busy with school work and stuff... BUT WOW!!!! the most amazing creation of LEGO cars yet, and who is it built by? the best lego car builder alive! :P Great job again. =D
Wow magnificent. I am a bit late but was at a school trip for three days. But this is one of the best cars so far from you, it almost look like a real scale model and not from lego. So keep up the great work my friend. And p.s I am from sunday at vacantion.
I joined MOCpages recently but have known about it for a while, and from what I see, you are definitely the best car builder on the site...this is an amazing creation, I recognized it instantly from the thumbnail.
I love cars and now that a vehicle such as this is in LEGO, it makes for wonderful viewing pleasure, thanx!...and people think LEGO is for kids...
you keep getting better. best ford ive seen. shocking~

This is an incredibly amazing car, I think this one is my favorite one of yours, not that your others aren't great, but this one is really over-the-top. It just looks so clean and perfectly smooth. And the stripe across it was expecuted to perfection. It's just simply gorgeous, wonderful job! ~T

Beautiful, simple beautiful. An amazing piece of work Firas! I love how it's all attached by differient parts and the shape it was is speechless. I'm always amazed by your work. I can't wait until your done with your so called "Big Project." P.S. I'm been getting some complaints about my pics on my newest mocs and I was concerned because my older mocs' pics were fine. So I was wondering if you have any tips on how to make them better or if I need to get a better camera that takes ones like yours.
I'm not a car enthusiast (that's putting it midly, actually) so I'll leave structural critiques to the pros. But as a builder, I think it's safe to say that mid-sized MOC's just don't get much better. The detail, the color work, the lines, all brilliant execution. And of course, your presentation is top notch, as always. Another great addition to your amazing line of cars!
jesus christ..... that is who you must be. thats the only possible answer! i gotta say, i think i like the Race Version more. the tail just gives it that pointy look instead of having the bulge of the roof in the middle. you know what i mean? but anyway. AMAZING as always.
Yowza! This thing is HOTT! Perfect! Every car you build is perfect! Good job on the classic colors: red and white are the best, yellow and black next. Two bad the little red stripe is sticker; I always thought it was LEGO®. Awesome job!
I read it somewhere on mocpages about your next moc (this one) and I guessed "Oh, Knowing Firas, and the things he said about this moc(it's ford, just as cool as the shelby...)that it would be a Ford GT and I was right. Best...Car...Evaaaahhh!!!!
Firas, how can you do this to us? If you keep building cars so stunning goodlooking like this one we (that is the other Lego car builders) don't dare to build any car for months. It can never be good compared to this one!! But seriously, i really think this is your best car, and absolutely the best Lego model i've ever seen !! Can't wait to see the big project.....
wow simply amazing by any chance i know this is a big favor could you do any inructions in any way i mean i could have done it my self with my pieces if it were in 4-wide or 6-wide anyways.... incredble
it was true youe next moc WAS a Ford GT
Wooooow ! Great shape, the hood is amazingly accurate, I believe "perfect" doesn't excist but this... is just so...perfect, fantastic job, you managed to make a VERY accurate replica of a difficult design.
Man I knew you had a Ford GT coming our way! And what an absolutely awesome one at that.
Fantastic job on the styling as well as the details and proportions on this one, well everything really. Great car once again!
Very nice. Do you know why ford made the original ford GT 40? Ford wanted to buy and operate Ferrari racing, Ferrari still wanted to do the operating and said no deal. Ford then built the original ford GT 40 to beat them in Le Mans. They did, four times including the famous 1-2-3 finish in 1966. Enzo Ferrari also angered a man by the name of Ferruccio Lamborghini, the rest is history
You've got a nice model there. Looks cool to me. Unlike Ralph I have no idea what these cars look like in real life. In my life cars stopped being interesting when I started having to buy them and pay for repairs. That's nice thing about LEGO cars. No service. see ya. garth
Absolutely INCREDIBLE, Firas! I think it's your best yet. You have recreated the details of this car beautifully! I really like the racecar version as well... 100/5 How do you build the brakes? I haven't built anything big enough to use them, but I just want to know.
Of course it's another 10/10! and... it's also your best model to date, I think. It's not quite perfection, but it's soooo close and such a difficult subject that this has to be one of the greatest MOCs on MOCpages. My favorite car from you, and maybe from anyone! Wonderful : )
Dude... did I ever tell you that you are a Master of Car Recreation?! I mean, this is a Masterpiece. And couldn't it be better with small acessories that make the car completely different. I have to say, if this thing doesn't become a Moc Of The Day (shortened: MOTD), it isn't getting the attention it deserves! Another brilliant piece of work Firas! Keep on doing it!
Happy moccing! (and if it isn't to much hassle, check out my MOCs)
It's hard to describe or comment what could be simply called PERFECTION !!! The doors and the front-view are my favorite parts. Also the Sport version rocks !!! I can't wait to see what will be your "Big project" ... Is it possible to do something more amazing than this one ? I bet you can ! Keep on the perfect work !
