Washington Class Destroyer "USS Spartan"
The Washington Class Destroyer is my navy's primary ship and is the largest ship in the fleet. The navy originally had battleships in the fleet. Sure they had the firepower but they proved to be slow and easily spotted so the navy got rid of them and replaced them with destroyers. The destroyer class of ships is faster and smaller than the battleship and making them harder to hit. They are also armed to teeth so firepower is not an issue. The latest class of destroyer into the fleet is the Washington. slightly faster than other Destroyers in the fleet the Washington is able to out run enemy ships. The Washington is also greater in firepower with more weapons than you could poke a stick at. The Weapons on the ship include: 1 5" forward turret, 1x3 9" turrets, 1 Mk 26 missile launcher 1x2, vertical launch missile system, 1x2 4" side turrets, 1 phalanx CIWS 20mm, 1x1 5" rear turret, 1x2 quad anti ship missile launchers, 2 50cal general purpose machine guns and 1 super heavy multipurpose machine gun. Advanced radar equipment on the ship give it the edge in combat increasing line of site and weapon accuracy on the ship weapon systems.

At the rear we have the multipurpose super heavy gun platform. Thanks to Gir3691 for the design.

This gun is only used when needed and is highly effective against large ships and aircraft. It fires a high caliber depleted uranium rounds at 410rnds per minuet in an earsplitting volume.

Able to punch through the toughest armour

It surely is heavily armed, the only problem is a submarine could ambush it. Submarines can be hard to hit too because they dive really deep where torpedoes cant really reach (from the surface). But anyways great job!
