Garbage truck for Girls
This garbage truck is build with technic lego. It uses the newest speed remote controller (8879). Power functions are used to steer and drive the truck and to empty the garbage cans.
About this creation

Garbage cans are emptied at the back side of the truck.
It can handle 2 cans in the same time.

Details of my truck
The cabin of my creation is inspired by the lego off road truck (8273). The head lights are made from the power functions lights.

You can open the cabin doors. The doors have rounded window frames.

The garbage girls can stand on the foot rests at the back side. In the Netherlands this type of foot rests is used for small trips.

This garbage truck is operated by girls and it is also designed by one: me!

Remote Control

Two remote controllers are used:
• The new RC 8879 to control truck steering and driving with 7 different speeds in 2 directions
• The RC 8885 to control emptying the garbage cans

Technical details

The truck bottom

An M-motor drives the steering gear rack via different gears. You can see the crown gear on this photo.

An XL-motor drives the rear wheels via a differential gear set. A very stiff construction is used to prevent slip between the gears.

An M-motor drives the mechanism for emptying the garbage cans. A gear with slip clutch (white gear on the photo) prevents damage to the construction.

This creation is designed by Anika Vuurzoon.

Quoting Jay O'Bee Good job, although I don't really like the use of non-LEGO figures to model a creation.
Thank you all for your comments!!! Jay say that he don't like my figures, because they wouldn't be Lego. I can tell you that The Lego belville girls are from Lego. They become from the Belville sets 5840 and 5802. bye Hupie Vuurzoon

Nice. I love it when people build with power functions, though I don't have any myself. My favorite part is how the truck can lift the cans; excellent engineering. Great work, keep it up!

Magnificent build! You really need to add a video to show how well emptying the waist bins works. Very skillfully crafted, keep up the good work.
