About this creation
Order Of Battle
I'm using brickshelf for image hosting, so the pics are clear, but a bit large.
'Tis a fair price to pay, I think.
They aren't that much larger than normal, so they shouldn't stretch the page- much.
I suggest viewing at 1024x768 resulution, as that's my computer res and so these look best in it.
Here's a spot of entirely optional music, if you want it; now, I'd LIKE to suggest www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/snes/sm-story.mid , except it screeches a bit and only the percussion bit at the middle is any good.
So, I'll suggest www.vgmusic.com/music/computer/microsoft/windows/mechw2splash.mid instead.
And yes, Partial Cover and 2d6 for Hit Location are real Battletech rules, but only 2d6 for HL pass over to Aerotech.
Partial Cover doesn't matter, fortunately; it really boosts the chances for a head hit, and a strafing run does enough damage as-is without perforating your cockpit as well.
As you can see, I've been adapting my speech-box technique to try and see what looks best. I think I've decided, so no worries about wild variation in future.
To Be Continued, naturally.

hat has gotta be the best little dio iv ever seen o_0 OMG IM DRULING AND GASPING FOR AIR... can u see myt eos mech i made.. its not as good as this dio.
I went, I saw, I commented. But anyhow, it's very difficult to compare things of different themes; I can't compare a big pirate ship to that bionicle you finished, while I also can't compare most Dawn Forge mocs to some of those amazing fighter aircraft that pop up occasionally. Thanks for the opinion, anyhow.

Cool comic! What did you use for the word boxes?
Microsoft paint. And the Arial font.
Quoting Galactic Officer: AC-2573 Drake
pretty sweet man, how many installments are there gonna be in this comic?
Five. One, planning. Two, officer pot-shotting. Three, spotter swatting. Four, scarboy scarring, five, the stuff inside; figs, landscapes, that sort of thing.

BattleTech and UNE? Win.
Actually it's Aerotech, which is similar except you get starfighters and dropships instead. You can strafe and dive-bomb a game of battletech if you want though; a wing of Chippewas can REALLY ruin an Atlas jock's day, bombs or no.

That's really very good!
It's good you put humour in it and that it's a very good continuation!
You've done a fantastic job on it, only, I didn't click with the music...
Well it's a personal choice, really. That's why it's not compulsory (and, of course, because there is no way I'm getting an account on that playlist site). Thanks for the opinion, though. Which humorous parts did you think were the best?

Good. Can't wait to see some Scar boys get blown up.
Sorry; I've only got one. You're gonna have to watch the local EOS leader get his car shot up first, then you'll have to see the fate of the spotter teams and THEN you get to see the demise of a boy-with-scars. It's going to take a while, but I think this one is the largest installment; not much BANG-BANG-FWOOM-SMASH-SHATTER-CRUNCH-CRUNCH and lots of babble-babble-babble instead. Believe me, Phase II has most of the terrain and features finished; I've got the gully and road, I've got me a perforated staff car, I've got me a rather villainous looking EOS officer, I've got me his holed driver, I has teh skaborr to killz te UNe, I have no idea how I'm going to put them all together but I'll find a way, I assure you. I started by pulling my ruined factory apart to make a snowy landscape and a trench, and look! If you ever try a story, watch out; they snowball REAL FAST while you're building, and before you know it you've got to build landscape after landscape after- oh right, you've got that Philosophy Of A Machine thing.
