This is a model of the Pitsco Brutus robotic arm. It dosn't really look like it, but it does everything that the real thing does. It has 10 motors, 1 RCX with an AC adapter, 1 speed regulator, 7 pneumatic cylinders, 4 motorized pumps, 2 pole reversers, and a pressure switch. The pressure switch makes it so you don't have to pump the pneumatics by hand and it senses when the pressures low, (like when you flip a valve) and turns on the motorized pneumatic pump and does all the work for you. This MOC took me over 7 months to make.
It was hard to tear it down! But I closed my eyes and got to work.

Pretty good! ;) In my creations I like to see them more homogeneous.. with specific colours (a money problem most of the times :), more realistic if you know what I mean. But it's very good! when I was 13... I didn't care about that... just like you didn't. Don't misunderstand me :]
Congratulations, the pneumatic system is always a great way to get power. An advice: If you don't wanna use pneumatic, try not to use many gears to get more torque through a simpler way.
Excellent, I like this mostly because of the improvements that have been made between certain photos. Loses a smiley for the apparant over-comlication - I think that it needs a bit more efficiency and less of a brute-force approach (7 cylinders and 10 motors!). Having said that, if it could utilise most of this power it would be outstanding, so although it is all in bits now it would have been nice to have a pic of it with the heaviest thing it can lift! -David
