Quoting John Moffat
I dunno really. For a space fighter I'd usually like to give them a light space suit of sorts so they would have half a chance of surviving should there be a problem with the fighter.
Rebel helmets with visors do not seem to provide any kind of protection vs space hard conditions.
BTW, could you post some "scheme" for minifigs?, p.e, engineers, mechanics, pilots... Since you're the President, I don't want to make units that have no relation with the UNE theme.
Maybe not in Earth's atmosphere (?)
BTW, are the UNEN using Rebel pilot helmets?
(http://www.mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=114561&id=/user_images/10024/12406138997) I've them but I'm against the "starwarization" process of sci-fi.
I've done a few changes in the fighter, so I'm gonna delete the Fighter pics and the description in this page and post a new improved one.
I need to get a new background, my old one was heavily damaged in the moving process :(
ps. I think most of our Fighters are not aerodinamic enough to fly into the atmosphere... All Sci-Fi series had thought that and the best atmospheric fighter I've ever seen is the Viper Mk. II-VII from BSG, but...
Excellent work here. I love the SNOTty wings, and things ARE always better with accessories. I might make a hanger one of these days..... My only problem is it doesn't really have the aerodynamics for atmospheric flight.
